John leaves on another hunting trip and gives Dean the responsibility of finding shelter for he and his baby brother. Unfortunately, the only motel around for miles is completely inhabited. They sleep in the cold car.
I imagine this takes place sometime around the events of Season 4 Episode 13 (After School Special)
