Your name: What is this?

You checked yourself in the mirror for the umpteenth time. You didn’t have anything to wear for a day out with your hero so you asked your friend Cecelia, who, just like friends do, let you borrow a cute sundress she brought. But not without the price of grilling you on the details.

“Come on! At least show me a picture of your mystery date!” She pouted.

“It’s not a date, Cece.” You insisted.

She snorted, “Yeah right. What kind of guy asks you on a whim to eat lunch with him alone and tells you how special you are? Not to mention he just met you. Face it, Y/N. He totally asked you out.” She sighed as she flopped onto the hotel bed. “God, why don’t these kinds of things happen to me?”

You hesitated for a moment, fiddling with your hands. “Cece, what if it’s not all it’s cracked up to be?” You asked, your voice low and hands shaking. “What if this is just a game? What if he’s just using me?”

Cecilia frowned, “You know he’s not.” But your unconvinced expression told her otherwise. “Y/N, you’ve gotta be a little more hopeful about this. This is someone new, this mysterious and probably hot and handsome stranger asking you out on a friggin’ date for god sakes! It’s like a dream!”

“And what if that’s all this’ll be? Just some stupid dream that ends up being a complete nightmare?”

“I don’t think that’ll happen.” She replied. “Not everyone is like Barron, you know.”

You sucked in a deep breath, knowing that what she said was true but the doubt still lingered in your mind. You weren’t one for fairy tales and happy endings. They just didn’t happen to you. And you weren’t going to start believing in them now just because some gorgeous guy supposedly asked you out.

You turned away from the mirror to face her, changing the subject. “How do I look?” Truthfully, whatever your friend said, you felt a little strange. You never dressed up for anything really and it was one the first times in your life you ever put that much effort into make up and hair. Your reflection almost made it seem like you were a completely different person.

Cece gave you a wink, “Rawr.” She made a sound similar to a purring cat. “Trust me. He won’t be able to resist.” You grabbed a nearby pillow and threw it into her face.

“Hey! What the hell?”

“You’re crazy.” You snorted.

She smirked and kicked at your heels, “Yeah but you love it. Now get going or you’re gonna be late for Prince Charming!”

Matt fiddled with his collared shirt and tried combing his unruly hair once more before turning back to his friends, Richard and Rob. “There. How do I look?”

“Like a friggin’ archangel.” Richard snickered and pinched Matt’s cheeks. Matt swatted his hand away and Richard’s snickers turned into full on guffaws.

Rob shook his head, “I still say it’s a little weird. You met her yesterday, right?” Matt nodded his head and he continued, “So what – do you like her or something? I mean, it’s not like you to wanna just pick girls up on a whim.”

“Um no. Girls wanna pick him up. I mean, have you seen the ass on this guy? He’s fucking blessed.” Rich snorted.

Matt rolled his eyes and ignored his friend. “It’s hard to explain. It was… It was a feeling, you know?” He paused for a moment, biting his lip to help collect his thoughts but they all traced back to your smiling face. “It was like God was opening this door of opportunity and I had to take it – seriously, you’re a fucking perv, Rich.” He scoffed as he watched his friend collapse in tears.

“Face it. You walked right into that one though, dude.” Rob smirked.

Sometimes Matt wondered why he was best friends with those psychos but he couldn’t help but love them. He sighed and glanced at his watch and his eyes widened, “Shit! I’m gonna be late!”

As he bolted out the door, he heard Richard holler, “Use protection, Matty!” And he flipped him off.

You couldn’t stop the thrumming in your heart as you waited in the lobby. You tapped your toes on the ground and checked your phone to try to calm yourself down but it still didn’t seem real. Matt had asked you to lunch and half of you thought it was a dream you were more than excited to experience and the other half thought it was too good to be true.

Maybe I was just dreaming it all up. You thought as your heart sank but just as it had, it lifted and raced as you spotted the all too familiar face enter the lobby.

Several heads turned as they saw him and some folks who had gone to the convention gasped and squealed upon seeing him but once he spotted you, yours was the only face he saw. He dashed to you, bypassing the spectators nearby and that was when you realized you hadn’t dreamt it at all. It was a reality and you were about to live it and you didn’t know whether you were bursting from excitement or trembling from that nagging fear that you would mess it up.

“Y/N, hey. Sorry for being late.” Matt remarked, giving you a quick hug. “Rich and Rob kept me but hopefully you didn’t wait too long.”

You shook your head, “No I didn’t.”

Matt’s nervous expression turned to one of relief as he sighed with a grin, “That’s good. I would’ve hated it if I worried you.”

“Truthfully I’m surprised you remembered.” You admitted.

His eyes grew wide before he frowned, “And forget about you and our special day together? Keep dreaming, Y/N.” He paused for a moment before continuing. “Speaking of that, I made us a reservation in an hour so shall we go, m'lady?” He drawled in a fake British accent, holding his arm out.

You hooked your arm in his and nodded. He squeezed your arm against his as you both headed for the parking lot.

You were dreaming. You had to be. There was just no other explanation as to why Matt not only asked you to have lunch with him but followed through with his plans and took you to the quaintest restaurant you’d ever seen. It was like a little slice of Italy with pictures of olive groves and Tuscan villas decorating the walls and the sweet smell of garlic and tomatoes wafting through the air. They had the sweetest staff and you both wound up in a corner booth a ways away from the other customers.

“Any friend of Rob’s is a friend of ours.” The owner, a tiny Italian woman who looked like a grandma grinned at you as she took your orders.

“I’ll have the special.” Matt remarked before turning to you, “What would you like, sweetheart?”

You blushed at the nickname but Matt didn’t seem to notice the effect he had on you. Nevertheless, the waitress was awaiting the response and you didn’t want to keep her waiting. You glanced at the menu, hiding behind its pages before ordering the same thing and the woman left you both alone.

“I don’t think I said this yet but you look beautiful.”  Matt grinned.

You almost thought it was his goal that day to make you blush constantly. You fiddled with your sleeves as heat rose into your cheeks, “You’re just saying that –”

“Trust me. I’m not. You really do look great today, Y/N.”

You ducked your head, feeling even warmer, “Thanks. You – you look great today too –not that you don’t look great everyday! Im sure you look amazing everyday – oh God, I’m digging myself in a hole aren’t I?”

Matt chuckled, amused. “I’m glad you think so, sweetheart.” He winked.

You were pretty sure your face was now officially on fire so you hid your face behind your hands. “I just need to shut up. I’m such an idiot.”

“Hey, no, Y/N.” Matt frowned, “Look at me.”

You shook you head and he sighed. “Y/N, please.” His voice grew serious and you peeked behind your hands for the briefest moment before relenting and letting them drop. Then you lifted your gaze and met his green orbs as he replied, “Thank you.”

You nodded, feeling your throat run dry as he continued. “You’re not an idiot, okay? I know we don’t know each other much but trust me when I say you aren’t. And for the record, I didn’t mind the rambling. I thought it was adorable.”

You flinched, reliving the words that made you feel humiliated. “Sorry about that…”

“You don’t have to apologize, you know, for anything. You didn’t do anything wrong.”

“But –”

He put his hand out and placed it over yours which easily shut you up. “Y/N, it’s okay. You have nothing to apologize for. Alright?”

Your throat seemed to swell and your eyes sting from the unshed tears that always seemed to appear at the drop of a hat. But Matt didn’t seem to mind. He tilted your chin up, allowing you to gaze once more at his handsome face. His eyes searched yours, awaiting a response so you nodded your head.

He beamed and his whole face lit up. “Well alright.”

Before you could say anything, the waitress returned, bringing over your plates of food. Upon seeing you both, she rushed with placing the plates in front of you before disappearing with a knowing wink. And just like that, you were blushing all over again.

“Man, Rob wasn’t kidding when he said this place was good.” Matt sighed, patting his belly as the both of you walked out of the restaurant.

You nodded, “I don’t think I can even eat dinner.”

“Tell me about it. I’m not even sure I could eat breakfast tomorrow, but do you know what sounds pretty good right now?” He asked and you shook your head. “A nice, cold pint. I could go for a pale ale or something to cool down after all that chow.”

You gestured in front of you. “I saw a bar a few blocks down if you wanna check it out.”

Matt’s eyes sparkled as he turned to you, “Only if you check it out with me.”

You wrinkled your nose in displeasure, “Okay, but… I’m not much of a beer person.”

  “You’re kidding.” He deadpanned.

“It tastes like piss.”

He snorted, “Only if you haven’t tried the good stuff.” You didn’t look convinced and he smirked, “That’s fine. I’m up for the challenge. I’ll school you on good beer and in return, I’d like you to do something for me.”

  “What’s that?”

“I want you to stop speaking so negatively about yourself.” He replied and though you opened your mouth to object, he continued. “I know it’s hard and I know you don’t want to do it, but it would make me really happy if you stopped criticizing yourself when you’re a strong and beautiful woman. Okay? So can you do it? Please? For me?” He batted his lashes at you and you turned to mush.

You bit your lip, wishing you could not only refuse him but stop yourself from turning scarlet again but it was as though your mouth betrayed your mind. “So you really think I’m strong?”

He nodded, “And beautiful.”

“… Fine.”

Matt grinned and his eyes twinkled with glee. “Perfect! And for every negative comment you say about yourself, you gotta find five things you like about yourself.”

Your eyes widened, “Hey! Wait a minute! I didn’t sign up for that!” You hollered but he was already bounding ahead of you, skipping like a child.

“You’re not gonna regret this! I promise.” He called out as you chased him into the bar.

Summary: in one of the most heartbreaking moments of Dean’s life, he and Team Free Will say their goodbyes. (Dean’s POV)

She’s so beautiful. The way the light shines on her face makes me have to catch my breath every time. I look at her and it’s like staring into the sun, though I can never look away.

She does this thing when she’s thinking, she’ll just nibble on her lip without even noticing she’s doing it. Her skin smells like gentle lavender like the flowers just bloom under her skin. And her eyes–oh, those eyes take me somewhere far away with every glance.

On the horizon, I can see the sun beginning to set. The water is practically still, though the breeze still blows softly through her hair. She’s a force of nature all on her own.

As I study her with tears in my eyes, I watch the final colors left in the sky make her skin glow. Never have I longed for someone the way I do her, and I know that I never will again.

This is one of my sadder fics. But, honestly…always was one of my favorites.

Castiel x Reader

Summary: It’s Valentine’s Day!!! While Sam, Dean, and Y/N look into a hunt, Gabriel gives Castiel a crash course in dating. Though the angel is secretly pining after Y/N, it may not have been a good idea to let Gabriel meddle with his love life…

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

“Hey bro, what’s going on?”

Castiel turned up from his book and saw Gabriel leaning over the table in front of him, chocolate bar in hand.

“Hello Gabriel,” the angel nodded tersely. “What do you want?”

“Easy there, slugger!” Gabriel said with a laugh. “No need for the hostility. I come in peace. More or less…”

Castiel sighed and turned back to his book. “I’m going to continue reading now,” he said.

“Suit yourself.”

Gabriel stayed perched on the edge of the table. He unwrapped his chocolate with great care before tossing the foil just shy of the ledgers fanned out in front of him. Castiel’s grip on his book tightened as Gabriel began humming and riffling through the carefully organized documents.

“Gabriel,” Castiel said through gritted teeth. “Sam and Dean are trusting me to conduct the relevant research pertaining to their case.” He looked up with a glare. “So unless you have something important to share, please leave mealone.”

Gabriel froze and puffed out a cheek at Castiel’s sternness. He gulped down the chocolate he was chewing and cleared his throat. “I’ll have you know that I do have something to share,” he said confidently.

Castiel let out a deep breath. “And what would that be?”

“Check the date,” he said simply.

Castiel studied him carefully before pulling out his cell. “It’s Monday,” he said dryly.

“Almost there,” Gabriel pushed.

“Monday… February fourteenth?” Castiel asked after checking again.

“You’re killing me here,” Gabriel cried out. “IT’S VALENTINE’S DAY!”

Castiel blinked with confusion. “Happy Valentine’s Day?” he said hesitantly.

Gabriel groaned before standing up and pacing to the other end of the room. “Come on! Today’s your chance to finally make a move, big guy! You know, woo the girl?”

It finally dawned on Castiel what Gabriel was getting at. His cheeks reddened as he sat stoically behind the table. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said.

Gabriel huffed and pointed a finger. “Sorry pal, but I think we both know that’s a lie.”

Castiel licked his lips before looking down sheepishly.

“Listen buddy, I’m not judging you here,” Gabriel pressed. “I’m only bringing it up because I thought maybe I could help you out.”

Castiel shot him a glare but before he could respond, the door to the motel opened and Y/N and the Winchesters hurried in.

“Hey guys,” Y/N called out. “How’s the research going?”

“Swell!” Gabriel chimed in with a wink. “Cassie here’s been nodding off, but don’t worry, Ol’ Gabe’s gotch’ya wacky kids covered.”

“Yeah well, Ol’ Gabe can stick it where the sun don’t shine,” Dean growled. “We know what we’re hunting.”

Y/N approached Castiel and leaned down to whisper in his ear. “Dean’s still not happy about teaming up with him,” she said.

Castiel flinched at her sudden proximity and tried to think of something to say. He looked up at her and smiled shyly. “Today is February fourteenth,” he stammered.

Y/N quirked a brow. “That’s cool…” she said uncertainly before walking away and taking a seat on the nearby bed.

Castiel felt his cheeks warm as he turned back to the conversation.

“It’s a shifter,” Sam explained. “A nasty one, too. From what we can tell, it’s got a hideout back at the abandoned High School on Richmond Street.”

“We’re headed there now, but wanted to pick you guys up in case we need any divine intervention, you know?” Dean said.

Y/N nodded, then looked at Castiel. “Anyway, we’re going to pack some weapons in the trunk. Why don’t you and Gabriel meet us out front in five?”

She smiled, but he turned quickly, shying away from her attention. Castiel watched as his three friends left the motel room, Y/N glancing at him before walking out the door.

“Well, you’re hopeless,” Gabriel sighed as soon as the door shut.

Castiel closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. It was true. He cared for Y/N but didn’t know how to go about telling her.

“Gabriel?” he asked.

“Yeah?”

Castiel opened his eyes, a new look of resilience shining in them. “I think it’s time I accept your help. How can I wooY/N?”

Gabriel smirked, taken by his brother’s sudden determination. He straightened the collar of his leather jacket and rubbed his hands together. “Alright amigo,” he said. “Here’s what we’re gonna do…”

***

Castiel sat in the backseat of the Impala between Gabriel and Y/N as the Winchesters drove to Richmond Street.

He sat rigidly with his hands on his lap, acutely aware of Y/N sitting beside him. Castiel felt something nudge his arm and turned to his right.

“Remember what we talked about!” Gabriel whispered sharply. “You’ve gotta count shoulders when you’re close together. This is your shot!”

Castiel nodded and winked. “Yes. I remember now,” he whispered back. Before they had joined the Winchesters on their hunt, Gabriel had given Castiel a crash course in flirting, guaranteeing that Y/N would be hooked by the time they killed the shifter.

Castiel cleared his throat and stared intently at Y/N. When she noticed him eyeing her critically, she turned to look at him. “Hey Cas. Is something wrong?”

“Y/N,” he said tensely. “I would very much like to count our shoulders.”

“You’d like to do what?”

Y/N watched as the angel tapped both his shoulders and her own. “One… two… three… four…” he muttered under his breath. He then wrapped an arm around her, and pulled her close against him.

“Castiel,” Y/N said, her voice muffled by his coat. “This is too close…”

The angel panicked and pushed her away. “I’m sorry,” he said. “I didn’t mean to cause discomfort.”

Gabriel snorted. “Great job,” he whispered sarcastically. “I can really see the romance blooming.”

“Alright, I have no idea what’s going on back there, but maybe you guys can hold off until we ice this shifter,” Dean called from up front.

“Yeah, sounds good to me,” Y/N agreed before rushing out the car door. Castiel had been acting strangely around her lately, and she was concerned.

Sam loaded up their weapons and surveyed the abandoned building. The sun was setting quickly, so they would only have an hour of daylight before the High School went dark.

“Alright Sammy,” Dean said, hitching a silver blade to his belt. “What’s the plan?”

Sam turned back to the group and nodded. “Dean and I are going to take the East wing and see if the shifter’s holed up in any of the classrooms. Meanwhile, Y/N, we need you, Cas, and Gabriel to take the Right wing and check the basement for anything suspicious. If anyone finds the monster, then-”

“I’m not liking this plan.”

Everyone looked at Gabriel. “Excuse me?” Dean said.

The angel shrugged. “I’d rather be Team Winchester,” he said simply.

“That’s not happening,” Dean laughed. “Not by a long shot.”

“Actually Dean, that might be a good idea.” Sam relented. “Better to have an angel on both sides of the building in case we run into anything, right?”

“Great! It’s settled!” Gabriel clapped. He nudged Castiel and whispered, “You’re welcome. Now’s your chance to make a move without interruption! Just you and Y/N… and maybe a shifter if your luck goes sour. Have fun!”

The group entered the building and separated at the front door. Soon, Castiel and Y/N were wandering the halls alone. The angel wracked his brain, trying to remember everything that Gabriel had taught him about flirting. Y/N had paced ahead of him, so he took a breath and ran to her side.

He nudged her arm and flashed a smile. “So… baby…” he said awkwardly. “Maybe we should-”

Y/N brought out her silver blade and nicked his hand. Castiel looked down at the wound. “Why would you do that?” he asked, perplexed.

Y/N stifled a laugh. “Sorry Cas! I thought you might have been the shifter.”

He cocked his head in surprise. “Why?”

She sighed before coming to a halt. “I don’t know what’s going on with you today, but you’ve been off,” she admitted. “Counting shoulders? Corny pet names? What’s the deal?”

Castiel looked down in defeat. “I understand,” he said. “You find me to be an inadequate lover.”

Y/N took a breath, overwhelmed by the angel’s oddity. “Gabriel put you up to this, didn’t he?”

He nodded solemnly. “I care for you, Y/N,” he said. “Very much. When Gabriel offered his romantic expertise, I accepted because I had no idea how to approach you myself.”

“That was a mistake,” Y/N said simply. She put a hand on his shoulder and met his gaze. “You don’t need to put on an act for me to like you, Cas. You’re already my favourite person.” She smiled and kissed him softly on the cheek.

Castiel tensed for a moment before leaning forwards and pressing his forehead against hers. “I don’t think I’ll be asking Gabriel for advice anytime soon,” he whispered.

She laughed before pulling away. “I think that would be best. Now what do you say we kill ourselves a monster, then make it home in time for a movie?”

Castiel nodded. “I’d like that.” He watched as Y/N grinned and turned away. “Y/N,” he called from behind. She looked over her shoulder. “Yeah, Cas?”

“Today is February the fourteenth.”

Her brows furrowed for a second, before the date finally made sense. “I guess it is,” she chuckled. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

With that, the angel and the hunter set off together, the start of something new between them.

Dean Winchester x Reader

Summary: Y/N prepares for the perfect Valentine’s day with Dean Winchester…

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

The alarm clock blared and Y/N sat up in bed bleary eyed and fatigued.

She frowned at the ringing and reminded herself that she didn’t need to set the timer anymore. The Bunker had been empty for a while now and she didn’t have much to do without the boys around, anyway.

Y/N looked to her right and saw Dean’s side of the bed was vacant. “You’d think I would be used to that by now…” She stretched with a soft groan and stepped out from under her covers. It wasn’t until she checked her phone that she was finally spurred to action.

The screen read February fourteenth.

She gave a small smile at the date. “Well Dean, looks like you’re in luck!” With a renewed sense of purpose, Y/N set out to get her Valentine’s plans ready.

Every February fourteenth, Dean and Y/N would celebrate the holiday with all its clichés. Chocolate, romcoms, and a couple of beers was all it took to make the day a good one. Though their celebrations were modest, the way they saw it, having each other was enough.

Y/N walked over to her closet and put together an outfit. It was an important day and she had to dress accordingly. Once clothed, she gave a weary smile at her reflection and stepped away.

Y/N ambled down the Bunker’s empty hallways until she reached the main room. She fetched her keys, two bottles of beer she had laid out the night before, and a DVD copy of Say Anything before rushing out the door to meet Dean.

A crisp February wind met her outside and she squinted at the clear sky above. Y/N smiled at the perfect weather and stepped into her car. She turned on the ignition and let out a deep breath “Here I go,” she whispered.

Valentine’s Day, One Year Ago

“Though I respect your affections, couldn’t you perhaps ease your passions?”

Sam entered the room and rolled his eyes. “Guys, come on. Cas is right. Take it easy, we ALL live here.”

Dean and Y/N grinned from their spots on the couch. “It’s just a kiss Sammy. Get over yourself,” Dean chastised.

“You guys are making out in our movie room. It’s not just a kiss,” Sam retorted. He and Castiel weren’t really offended, but liked to nag whenever they could.

Y/N shifted in her seat and kissed Dean’s cheek. “Sorry guys. We can’t help it if we’re hopelessly in love with each other,” she teased.

Dean turned around and kissed her back. “That’s right,” he started. “Hopelesslyanddevastatingly in love…”

Sam and Castiel shared a look as the pair carried on from where they had left off. In each others arms and against each others lips. “Maybe we should-” Cas stammered. Sam nodded. “Right ahead of you.” The angel and the hunter spared a last smile at their friends before leaving the room and locking the door behind them.

“I think they’re gone…” Y/N mumbled mid kiss

Dean pulled back and winked. “I figured that would do the trick.”

Y/N laughed at his callousness and moved away from him. She lay down and settled her head on his lap.

“How’s the view from down there?” he asked.

“Spectacular.”

Dean frowned. “Honestly? You usually hit me with a testy one-liner.”

Y/N shrugged. “I’m serious. I’m getting a great look at the ceiling from this angle…”

“Yup. There it is.”

Y/N giggled. “I set myself up for that one didn’t I?” he laughed, leaning his head back on the couch.

Y/N grabbed hold of his hand and squeezed gently. “You totally did,” she admitted.

They stayed quiet for a moment, comfortable in their easy connection. Dean started humming and Y/N listened as the faint tune carried on. She closed her eyes and smiled. “What are you humming?” she asked, already knowing the answer.

He hesitated and Y/N opened her eyes, taking in the glint in his eye. “Mr. Roboto,” he said carefully. “Styx.”

Y/N quirked a brow. “Is that so?”

“Is that a problem?” Dean asked, glancing down at her.

“You mean, is it a problem that you only ever hum the same ten songs from eons ago?”

Dean raised a brow and hummed louder.

Y/N raised a hand and reached out to touch Dean’s cheek. “I love you,” she whispered. He sighed and leaned into her touch. “I know,” he said softly. “And you have no idea what that means to me.”

Y/N moved to sit up. She looked into his eyes and saw him staring back. “Happy Valentine’s day,” she said. “I can’t wait to see what this year will hold for us.”

Dean leaned forwards and kissed her lightly. “As long as you’re still by my side, I couldn’t give a damn.”

With their favourite movie playing in the background, and plenty of sweets and beer waiting on the table, the two hunters nestled against each other and took comfort in the small moment they shared together.

***

Y/N drove past vast green pastures and earthy plains before finally reaching a sparse forested area. She knew exactly where to find Dean and felt her heart race as she drew nearer to her destination. She parked her car and stepped out, taking her Valentine’s treats with her.

I wonder if Sam has passed by lately… Y/N thought as she walked down a woody path. She could hear the buzzing of insects as she hiked, the unlucky few that hadn’t left for the winter. Their humming sounded suspiciously like Dean’s beloved rock hits… Y/N hiked for the better part of an hour before entering a familiar clearing. It was there that she saw Dean waiting just up ahead, the grin she knew so well tugging at his lips.

“How’s the view from down there?”

Y/N felt her eyes sting as she stepped forwards, a shaky smile on her face. “Dean,” she said softly, “you have no idea how much I’ve missed you.”

“And you have no idea what that means to me.”

Y/N walked towards the clearing’s centre. Her heart ached as she caught a flash of Dean’s laugh. She stopped when she reached a patch of blackened ground.

She knelt down before a heap of scorched wood. It had been months since she’d last been here and the ground was still stained with ash. She laid out the DVD and bottles of beer she had been holding. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” she whispered.

Above Y/N, standing cold and out of place was a pyre. It had been months since she had lost Dean to the vampires and he had been laid to rest. She still remembered the night Sam had driven the Impala home, passenger seat, empty. He had left the Bunker shortly after and she hadn’t heard from him much since then. She winced and cast away the memory, thinking instead of her last Valentine’s with Dean. They had been hopeful then, trusting in their future. He had told her that day that he would be content so long as she stayed by his side.

Y/N looked up to the sky and closed her eyes, reveling in the sun’s soft touch upon her skin. She took a breath and spoke.

“I’m still here.”
