LIVE

Just ugly cried my eyes out reading fic - a MDZS Twilight retelling, of all things. I don’t like Twilight, but I adore this fic, but man that was painful.

If I didn’t know for sure that this whole series was going to have a happy ending - I don’t know if I could take reading on.

Ah. Tonight is definitely one of those nights in which I don’t see my own reflection while looking into a mirror, but my father looking back at me.

I hate it. I want to claw my face right off.

Also look at our roses!

Aaaand all of the medical procedures are done! Second (and last) tooth that needed to be removed got extracted about an hour ago. Doctor says the place where the first one got extracted is healing beautifully. I won’t have to go back until my next check-up in October.

It does leave me with a 600+ € bill that my mother offered zo pay, since I’m currently not insured, but I will have to pay her back somehow, and ugh.

The moment you realise that your latest fanart might have way too many flesh-coloured pixels for tumblr. XD

I mean it’s spicy, but - it’s not even that spicy.

Anyway, if you wanna see that Wangxian fan art that might be too flesh-coloured for tumblr’s filters, you can do so on my twitter. It’s a redraw of one of the uncensored manhua panels, but still one of the tamer ones.

Alright, folks, the girlfriend and I will take a short trip to Germany from tomorrow (May 6th) to May 13th. Not sure how much I will be posting, but just to keep you updated.

We’ll of course try to stay as safe as possible!

I am frankly overwhelmed - but in a good way - by the sheer amount of positive feedback I got on Yesterday Once More. It’s almost as positive as it was for Summer Rain, which I personally thought could not be topped anymore. I cannot thank you all enough. ♥♥♥

„I remember him as…sunny,” Sizhui tells her. “His whole personality radiated sunshine and warmth. He was always smiling, always cracking a joke. He loved playing and rough-housing with us kids, but he could also be very gentle if he wanted to. Looking back, he couldn’t have been older than twenty-five; he was probably even younger than that, now that I think about it. But despite the short time we’ve spent together while he was looking after the kids at the orphanage, he always felt like a father to me.”

In which Lan Sizhui goes on a TV show, to find the man he saw as a father figure while he was in the orphanage, and who disappeared one day.

…and who just so happens to be his adoptive father’s long-lost love.

“As you can imagine, it’s not exactly easy to make a whole family disappear. The Wens needed help with getting out of here as quickly as possible, leaving no trace behind. The Wen siblings had met someone during their studies who had sensed the danger the family was in, and in an attempt to help them, had become a target too. So, he took it upon himself to leave his old life behind in order to help the Wens disappear, but also to protect those who were close to him back then. You know this man as…Xian-gege.”

Sizhui drops the two photographs he was still holding. “You are joking,” he says, incredulous.

In which the first steps to a reunion are being taken.

Chapter 5 is out now! Total chapter count has been updated to seven. ♥

Sorry for the relative silence - I’ll be leaving the country for a week on May 6th, and before that I’m going through a whole dental journey (got a tooth extracted on Tuesday and I’m in quite a bit of pain today), so…yeah.

That, and my mum is bothering me to go buy her a new laptop. Like, let me recover first. Your Mah-Jongg game can wait.

I can still hear you laugh in my mind. I still remember how you told me that you’d plant me in the orphanage’s sandbox like a radish so that I could sprout siblings. I remember how you told me stories about your brother and your sister and how you snuck out at night to steal lotus seeds from the neighbouring lake together. You always wanted to take me there when I’m older.”

In which someone realises just how much he’s being missed.
