(Starship Troopers story)
As an extension of “Starship Troopers” and the interstellar battle between the Terran Federation (humans) against the Uropigy Empire (bugs) I present the concept of:
“Tanker bug” or tank bug has another aspect that was described and seen in action by the soldiers of “pest control” in the Pluto campaign, where “SICON” confirmed the first attempts of the bugs to invade our solar system.
This version of the “Tanker bugs” has a more compact size at 4.5 meters high that can dig hidden tunnels on any land surface and its main offensive weapon is to shoot fire while its armored exoskeleton makes it invulnerable to the conventional arsenal. (It is recommended to bomb the terrain to delay your advance and deny your support to enemy troops.)
