Can’t Wait Wednesday features my January TBR!! I am so excited to read the Hannibal Lecter series for the first time!!
I thought this ‘BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS’ image would like quite good on a sticker/magnet (perhaps slapped on a book journal or magnetised to a well-read fridge) so you can now but one for a few quid (or international equivalent) here if you want!
A stack of books that don’t exist.
In the universe where these do exist, they are all fantasy/horror novels. Possibly they’re also no longer in print or are cult favourites, perhaps some are banned in schools or impossible to buy due to complex publishing rights disputes.
If you think of any synopses for these then let me know!
It wasn’t the kidnapping that ruined Cass Adams’s life. It was the letters that came after.
The pink envelopes that appear in her car, her locker, her bedroom. Notes from the man she escaped, telling her that he’s always there, always watching. And that someday, he’ll be back for her.
The police say there’s nothing they can do, and Cass resigns herself to live in fear until she reconnects with three old friends-three girls ready to exact vengeance on those who wronged them.
But the deeper Cass digs, the more shocking the truth becomes, especially when she discovers that the person who ruined her life may be the only one who can save it.

Some close ups of this stack of classics by women authors.
The Mill on the Floss was one of those rare books that I loved even though I read it as part of English Literature studies- I usually found that the analysis ruined the enjoyment for me
