Medicinal tea does not have to taste like bird pee, and if you’ve tasted bird pee you know that’s just yuck. Now, there are those whacky medicinal tea bags that come in like 3787293 different flavors, but if you read the fine print, all you’ll find is a bunch of non organic flavoring and long words you can’t even pronounce, that’s never good.
So, due to popular demand, i’m sharing a simple, yet super tasty blend that won’t cure cancer but is sure to help you with that little added healthy punch.
I call this, the Zen Blend, because I can
- Your choice of rich black tea leaves.
- Liquorice Root tor the liver and yummy flavor
- Birch Leaves to boost kidney functionality
- Yarrow to relief minor pains
There you have it, simply make that blend and enjoy the tea. A cup either in the morning or the evening works best, heck, hack a couple cups while you’re at it!
Organic green tea, olive leaves and hibiscus! Amazingly simple blend, you get that rich hibiscus taste right after the green tea silky taste, followed by the scene from the olive leaves. Pure lush.

Rae’s Rose Release Tea
- 3 parts Rose petals
- 2 parts Lavender
- 1 part Green tea
- Honey to taste
First, I ground everything together in my mortar and pestle, the entire time directing my energy and the intention of tension/stress release into the motion.
Then, I let it steep for 5min before stirring in my desired amount of honey. Before drinking, I held the cup in my hands with my eyes closed, allowing the warmth and peace to seep in. Then I enjoyed it.
I’ve found that this little “ritual” helps ease the tension in my body and the weight on my shoulders. I hope it helps you, too!
