I’ve always loved the quote at the end of Phantom where Christine says:
“This haunted face holds no horror for me now, it’s in your soul that the true distortion lies.”
Not just because it’s such an incredibly beautiful and impactful line, but imagine someone looking you in the eye and saying, “The problem isn’t the fact that you’re ugly, you just have a sucky personality.”
We all know that Erik wouldn’t ever dare hurt Christine. So I like to think that when they have an argument or a disagreement, instead of going straight to violence or murder like he usually does with other people, he just sits in a dark corner with his back facing her, sulking.
That, or he climbs up to one of the rafters and, again, sits there sulking. Kind of like a pissed off cat. And when someone tries to get him down he hisses at them.
Do you ever get really annoyed and/or angry with someone to the point where you kinda just wanna throw a noose around their necks and go “ORDER YOUR FINE HORSES NOW! RAISE UP YOUR HAND TO THE LEVEL OF YOUR EYES!”
Everyone else in the Phandom are able to have really mature, educated conversations about the different actors and their portrayals of the characters, and I’m just over here like:

So apparently for the 1st anniversary of the Las Vegas production, they had a Michael Crawford wax figure at the Venetian. I don’t know how long it stayed there, but by October 2010 it was reported to have been put in storage.
