Rewatching The Phantom of the Opera
@ 15: Poor Phantom, Christine should have stayed with him.
@ 21: I’m glad Christine married Raul.
@ 32, happily married, with a kid and seen enough abusive relationships:
Geez lady, forget those two wastrels of men and find yourself a Piangi! He may be married to an obnoxious woman, but at least he stands by her and tries to support her advancement in her chosen career.
Erik the Phantom of the Opera
This one was a favorite so I had to color it!
Leave Raoul alone, he’s fine, kiss the ugly man instead.
Erik, why do you keep lying?
The point of no return
Raoul: I’m literally so mad at you right now. There’s nothing you can say that’ll make me forgive you.
Christine:I-
Raoul: Okay, I forgive you :]
Christine:Parasite.
Erik: Enemies to lovers, slowburn, angst with happy ending, 300k+ words.
Erik:I’m a pest, exterminate me!
Christine[softly]: Erik, no.
Erik: You know the rules.
Christine: And so do I??
Raoul: Bro, you’re just digging yourself into a deeper grave.
Erik: I’m gonna dig your grave in a second.
Christine: Good thing I have a slightly high pain tolerance. And I’m a masochist-
Christine: Listen, I’m just as surprised over the fact that I’m still alive as you are.
Christine: Books are good, you’re just a whore.
Erik: I can’t read.
Erik: That sounds like a you problem.
Daroga: No, it’s a you problem as well!
Erik, rummaging through boxes: I can’t find it!
Daroga: what are you looking for?
Erik:My happiness.
Erik: [moves box to reveal Christine]
Erik: Wait nevermind, there she is.

Welcome to the blog dedicated to my webcomic, A Ghost on the Roof!
It is a story loosely based on the novel The Phantom of the Opera, by Gaston Leroux, set in modern times.
After I post the first pages of chapter one on September 1st, I will continue to post one page a week, on Sundays. Of course, if life gets in the way the updates may be delayed but I am determined to keep posting regularly. For information, the whole story is 18 chapters long.
I hope you will enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed creating it, and that you will follow me on this journey!

…So I was reading Phantom of the opera… I don’t know whether to despise Erik or pity him. Yes I know he killed people and kidnapped others… but-but he had a tough life… he just wanted to be normal. In the end, all he craved was normalcy and the love he’d never received.
That book was a tragedy and no one can convince me otherwise.
