I regret that. The original is so much better. And creepier. And darker.

“Housewives should be seen and not heard” means one thing for certain, you will be seen. It should be understood that you should be done up and dressed in an appeasing way, a piece of eye candy to anyone that catches you in their gaze.
Your appearances are a reflection of the home. You should look as put together and organized as the house is. Not to mention clean, feminine, and on top of that; Pretty. Finding the right ’look’ is a balance between your physical attributes and what your Domestic Superiors like to see. Beauty and Fashion does not have a catch all with all the variety out there, however any Housewife looking to complete their look should search no further than the 1950s American Housewife, and model herself after her likeness.
Hair - The most important thing to know about your hair is that it is flexible and adjustable. It can change based on style, color, and preferences. However, finding the right “do” may take some trial and error. Find something that works with your hair and keep it as your go -to style. Ensure it is elegant, and we’ll put together. Simplicity such as short cuts and pony tails do not cut it.
Makeup - Makeup is an everyday necessity. No exceptions. Long eye lashes, highlighted cheek bones, painted lips; you’re face should done up and looking fuckable regardless of the occasion. These guidelines are simply to let you know that you must have it, wear it, and why. Outside sources can be referenced when it comes to styles and applications.
Dresses - Every Housewife should own an ample amount of dresses, in fact they should make up the majority of the wardrobe. Vibrant, colorful, patterned, modest dresses that hug the waistline with billowing skirts that do not fall far above the knee line. Dresses should not have deep necklines, and should rarely cover the arm beyond a quarter length. Style of dress can change depending on the season and to your body type, however having a healthy selection of dresses that are moderate, feminine, and fitted will make any Housewife shine.
Shoes - The proper choice for footwear is always incumbent on the situation of the day, and what the rest of the outfit dictates. Typically, a matching color of high heeled pumps or maryjanes will be sufficient for a Housewife to wear while they do housework. Flats and sandals have their place in warmer months, but an afternoon in flats when you could be wearing heels may result in appearing lazy or incapable of walking in them. High heels extenuate your calves and rear in a way thats visually appealing. Remember that your comfort comes secondary to the beauty and visual appeal that you must give to others.
Open toed shoes should remain in the closet and pulled for special or social occasions. Boots and sneakers should be worn much less frequently, unless having special permission from the domestic lead to wear them.
Skirts & Blouses - Through dresses remain the primary outfit of choice, having a variety of skirts and blouses to wear is also an acceptable outfit choice to be worn more infrequently. Like dresses, these items of clothing should accentuate your bosom, hips, and sides in an appealing way. Skirts should typically be a solid color with no patterns in the fabric that matches the footwear, and never fall shorter than just above the knee line. Acceptable skirt pattersn are Accordian, Box Pleated, A Line, Paneled, Straight, and Circle.
With all of that said, notice anything missing? That’s correct, pants are a huge no-no. Pants are a sign of masculinity, and any proper Housewife would not be caught in a pair unless having expressed interested and permission from their Domestic Lead to wear or even own a pair.
Blouses should be more vibrant in color or pattern. Blouses should also be short sleeved or sleeveless, with a tight buttoned ¾ sleeved sweater or cardigan on colder days. Acceptable blouse collar types are Scalloped, Rounded Shaped Heart, Halter, Halter Strap, Off Shoulder, Peter Pan, or Bowed.
Knit sweaters are acceptable in colder months, often a solid color with vertical inlets in the fabric of the stitching. Patterned skirts can be worn with a solid colored blouse or sweater.
Accessories - No outfit is complete without jewelry. Earrings and necklaces are a 100% must. Diamonds should only be worn on special occasions. Pearl earrings and necklaces, or heart-shaped lockets are more modest, and make an outfit appear more feminine and pretty. Rings and bracelets should only be worn if they are given to you. Watches are not approved of and get in the way, like bracelets and rings, when wearing rubber gloves. Anklets make for a good accessory when worn with sundresses, as do toe rings if requested by a Superior.
Any and all other body piercings should only be worn with expressed approval from your Domestic Lead. Tattoos should also remain covered, if possible, unless having expressed approval. Your approval to get a new piercing or tattoo can also not happen without such approval.
Collars are sometimes a staple of certain Domestic Leads, and if you are requested to wear one consider it a requirement. Same rules can be applied to chastity devices. It is strongly recommended for Housewives to remain locked to prevent your focus from ever shifting from the tasks at hand, despite any urges. Chances are if you’re reading this and doing your training, that you are a massive whore. Chastity will be a firm reminder for you to keep your Slut hands away from between your legs.
Pantyhose - A subtle accessory but an important one, pantyhose is a necessary piece of any 1950s Housewife outfit. Silky nylon stockings with reinforced toes are the preferred kink. You should own a multitude of pantyhose, with a selection of various shades of nude, darkening to black. Pairs with a line down the backs of the leg, with darker fabric on the toes and heel are also acceptable. Any pairs with runs or tears are a blemish to the outfit, and should be tossed and replaced as soon as possible. Roll up stocks are also preferable to allow for easier access.
Undergarments - Matching sets of ornate, patterned, silky, lacy bras and panties should be worn underneath your clothing. A rule lf thumb is underwear should be sexy, and because of this rule Lingerie is also an acceptable undergarment that can be worn daily. It is important for you to look desirable in case “the mood strikes” where a quick unzip of your dress can transform you from ‘Modest Housewife’ to 'Dirty Housewife’ in a matter of moments.
Gerties are also a popular option, that can also double as shapewear and lingerie. They often provide hooks for stocking, completing a spicy, sexual look.
Nightwear - Lingerie or silk nighties should be worn for bed. It is never proper to be seen outside of the bedroom in your nightwear unless it’s requested of from a Domestic Superior. If you absolutely have to leave the bedroom at a late hour, wear a bathrobe if it is for a short period. Hair curlers should be applied every night if also desired. Just remember that the expectation of your beauty never rests, even as you sleep.
There is of course always the preference of the Domestic Lead that trumps all else. If they find it appropriate for you to work unclothed naked or in rags, you shall do so. Having clothing is technically a privilege. Nonetheless, appearances are very important, and you should always appear appetizing.
