I’ve rewatched yr too many times by now that my mind’s probably making this up, i just can’t help but see two of the most beautiful details in the lucia scene:
simon’s gaze on him is so intense and he almost imperceptibly nods his head, just before wilhelm kisses him. it seems like kind of his way of making sure “a bit better now?” and wille’s kiss is basically a response: “it’s better because of you, i need you, thank you for being here, i missed you, i didn’t mean to hurt you, i’m so sorry”.
wille’s head lifting slightly up to simon’s nose rub, with his eyes still closed, as a reaction to the comfort, the careness and the need of that touch.

ed really gave stede his first kiss with a man on a little beach at sunset, stroking his hand down his back and cradling his jaw, and then stede got to slowly have his eyes flutter open afterwards to look at ed like he just hung the moon……. bitch what the fuck literally what the fuck
