Entering an uber alone? Call your father (or anyone you trust) and say “hey dad! Yep, I’m almost there, I’m sending you the route.” outloud. Then proceed to send them the route so they can follow the uber drive. This will most likely intimidate the predator.
If you see someone in an uncomfortable or possibly dangerous situation, walk up to them and say “Betty, oh my god, I haven’t seen you in so long!”. If she gets slightly confused, you can whisper and let her know you’re trying to help and that she should follow along. Walk together to another station or away from where you are. The man will most likely not follow. I have done this one 2 times and can be very helpful.
If you are unsure she needs help, you can pass her a note saying something like “hey, I noticed this man beside you is making you uncomfortable. If you’d like help, fake a sneeze right now and I will come up to you and pretend we are friends.” This is a long note, but its an example. Be discrete. If she follows along, proceed with the previous tip. This is helpful when you’re in a crowded train and you notice harassment.
Help your sisters. Trust them. Trust yourself. Be safe.

The a-spectrum has been pretty looked over for a long time with many not even knowing we exist. It’s a very common story for aspecs, even I only discovered the identity a few years ago!

it’s an email address. sign them up for every goddamn newsletter and advertising list you can possibly find. sign them up for club penguin. throw this email into every website you can think of.
email automatically filters out potential spam - try to spell words correctly and avoid leetspeak, using too many symbols, using symbols instead of letters, and links.
i doubt they have any specific content filtering set up right now, but they probably will if enough people do this. try to avoid any meme-y words, or vocabulary that primarily leftists use. depending on how sophisticated they make their filter, if you can use terminology that a “concerned parent” would use, it might whitelist you.
I’d highly recommend using a burner email for this, and not your real email address. not only for anonymity’s sake, but also because if they block your address, you can just open a new one. just try not to make it a string of numbers, anything resembling spambot-speak, etc, just like the body of your messages.
EDIT: several people in the notes have said to put fake stories that end without anything actionable (no names, no locations, nothing they can use to out anybody). this way, you waste their time by forcing them to actually read your email, before they realize they’ve been had. I’d also like to add that however you end your story, make it obvious that you’re trolling. if you make it too convincing, they may share the story anyway like “SEE, teachers ARE evil!!” even if they can’t pin it on a real person. make your story long (!!!) and convincing, and end it with your shrek memes.

My books matter a lot to me. I just paid $8,000 to have a container full of books shipped from a storage locker in the UK to our home in LA so I can be closer to them. yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.
like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.
but on this New art blog, i’ve had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it’s always public, too. their following list and their likes list.
and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don’t know how tumblr works. how likes don’t give exposure. not even in a “oh, i know it doesn’t give exposure, but i’m still going to reblog anyways” way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn’t realize tumblr likes don’t work like twitter’s.

Damn. She did everything right. Yes, this is dangerous. But even a violent man is still human and can be outplayed. Predators rely on a pattern or routine. Disrupt the routine, and the predator freezes up. Once you disrupt them, don’t give them time to develop a response. Be bold. Be decisive. Talk loud. Act fast.
How should I approach this as a man? I wouldn’t want to make her more uncomfortable but I also wouldn’t be able to physically intimidate anyone because I’m short and un-athletic.
Talking to the woman is going to be hit or miss, just because she won’t know if you are an “out if the frying pan, into the fire” situation. BUT, you could still go with “thanks for waiting, you ready to go? Oh, who’s this?” And if she walks with you, you can say that she looked uncomfortable. I had a guy once ask if I could help with his phone to get me away from a conversation. OR: talk to the dude. “Hey man, can you give me directions to this place? Don’t I know you from somewhere?” Etc. Then she has time to escape. There are no set in stone answers, even if you don’t handle it perfect, if she gets out of the situation safely, count it as a win

One of my colleagues spotted a woman facing slightly away from a man who was talking to her, who was scary close. She looked uncomfortable and made eye contact. He noticed the guy was wearing a Broncos jacket and nonchalantly passed them both by and started the sports speak to the dude, like “aw bro did you see the defense last night? Hell of a time to he a Bronco fan, right?” And stood slightly behind the guy so he had to turn away from the woman. She said a cheeky “I’m not into sports, g'night!” comment and slipped away to the elevator. The dude looked super pissed but just stalked away to his car.
What was he supposed to do, admit to bad intentions?
