For ace awareness week, here’s the ace who’s aware of everything!

The way that there are so very few Freaky Friday style tma fics w/ bodyswapping as a focus is a genuine tragedy to me.
Like. It’s easily assignable to an entity (flesh, stranger, spiral, etc), perfect for exploring the complex relationships between the cast (such as Jon and Melanie, Jon and Tim, Jon and Martin, literally anyone for real) by literally putting them in another persons shoes making them empathize with each other, great to instigate plot divergent fix-its, able to capitalize on the often overlooked potential horror aspects of a body swap story and questions of moral ethics which are essential to tma, AND it’s one of the few series that has both a) pretty normal relationships between the male and female protagonists and b) a queer fanbase that has demonstrated a fairly nuanced approach to gender enough times that bizarre, uncomfortable and cissexist gender dynamics in a swap are less likely to occur.
I’ve seen…maybe 3? Overall bodyswap fics before and tbh? I haven’t even touched on the question of what would happen if an avatar swapped bodies with another avatar- whether their powers would transfer over or not, whether a “less human” avatar swapping with a “more human” avatar (i.e like. Jane Prentiss swapping w/ Martin) would affect either person beyond the superficial/physical…and that’s barely scratching the surface

jonathan jarchivist jims my beloved my bestie my blorbo how did you think people were gonna buy that you thought ghost spider man being found dead completely encased in webs was a wacky coincidence. with foreknowledge of the episodes ahead I understand your desire to play up the denial thing but ya gotta come up with some more believable lies. get better material.

I love how the biggest shock Jon has in Nesting Instinct isn’t the fact the dude in the statement was in love with beetle which devoured him. It’s that the statement is in French and he doesn’t speak French.
i listened to the entirety of the Magnus archives and honestly,, my fav has to be Elias i love him so much, even if he did do all that very very bad stuff in the last few episodes, hes got my heart
Re-watched Mina Le’s video on Audrey Hepburn and I felt the need to draw it. And to re-watch Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I mostly remember that the cat had a cool name and walked on the shelves.
