Part of my Dark Kingdom series on Patreon deals with the dead inhabitants as well as the demons and fallen, heres a portrait of one of the Shades of the underworld. Hello! This is my first painting of 2018 and the first since my wife suffered an Aortic Dissection at the beginning of Dec ‘17! As a gesture of thanks to all who have donated via the GoFundMe page set up by my lovely friend Mia Araujo as financial aid during our family crisis, i am making this piece available as a high res digital download- free for personal use to print and frame!
Emails to donors have already gone out but as the recovery period for my wife will be another few months till shes able to go back to work, all additional donations will also receive the file- just make sure you leave your email address when you donate so i can contact you!

One of the last pieces i made before December ‘17s nightmare began, ‘Fenestra’ is a little personal piece i will be adding to the mostlywanted shop when it reopens on 22nd January. Its an 8x10″ (excl frame) one off hand embellished digital painting on cotton rag stock, mounted on board, varnished and framed ready to hang.
On a personal note, i would like to thank everyone again for their support over the last 7 weeks or so, my wife is finally out of hospital and continuing her recovery at home. Due to the severity of her surgery its going to be another few months before shes back to full health so all sales or donations via the gofundme page are really appreciated!! Hope youre all having a great 2018 so far- looking forward to getting some new work out there soon!

‘The Summoning I & The Summoning I (Envoy)’

The first painting for the new series of works is really a pair that focuses on demon evocation. Each is a one off, hand embellished print on cotton rag stock. Mounted on board, varnished and framed. 14.5 x 21" incl frame each is titled, signed and stamped with a wax seal on the reverse with the new sigil for this body of work.

‘Chapel of the Hollow Hill’

Still working away, ive got a couple of show pieces that i will post about later but in the meantime, heres a look at a recently completed piece for my Dark Kingdom series on Patreon. ‘Chapel of the Hollow Hill’ is a bit of a homage to Louis Daguerre’s Gothic Chapel painting but mainly relates to the multitude of stories surrounding the Hollow Hills, in particular the queen of Elphame or the “Queen of Fairies” from the ballad of Tam Lin. (this piece is sold btw)
