I have a theory, but I’m not too positive that it’ll happen:
I would love it if they showed how Jim and Toby met, and how Jim and Claire met. But in the whole thing how Jim and Claire met, I hope that how they met in the books would stay how it is. And when Jim sees her on the dance floor, the song playing when he sees her is Eres tú. That’d be such a good connection to season one, and if Jim played that song during their dance for that particular reason
Also TOA fans who have seen the trailer for Rise of the Titans, because the Titans have in fact risen, it most likely means that Nari was taken by the Order and then that also means that Douxie unfortunately failed to protect her. And If the movie opens with that I will cry.

This is a really good theory I found out a few people have had lately. This scene here:
People are starting to think the yellow portal isn’t exactly a portal, but the exit/entrance to the New Trollmarket. If that’s the case, it looks like Claire, and Blinky (and maybe even a few others since we only see this angle) would’ve had to in there to probably get that gem Blinky’s holding.

Which is something I’ve been trying to figure out since the trailer cause he looks, just, extremely upset.
But we’ll probably find out more later or after it releases. If anyone thought anything similar, feel free to add on
This is a painting that features a lake called Lake Avernus. (There’s a great article that talks about this place. Link)
Look at the rock pillars?
They look like the ones in the Rise of the Titans location (but just more rounded). Both places are also surrounded by mountains, and the lakes look about to be the same shape.
This is so cool, but apparently a lake is considered the “Earth’s eye”. The water is the eye, while the brush/trees/whatever surrounding it are it’s eyelashes. You know there’s been a whole lot of eye symbols in Trollhunters, and this lake kind of does look like an eyeball.
Lake Avernus is actually part of Greek mythology, because this lake was believed to be the entrance to the underworld.
Oh my gosh, what if this lake is an entrance to somewhere? And what if it’s an entrance to that new market we saw in the trailer?
P.S. This lake is located in Italy. This might be where the gang are, but I’m not sure. Either way, this place is beautiful!
