#trollhunters tales of arcadia

LIVE

Some of the Tales of Arcadia fandom:

“I love Jim’s height difference when he was a troll”.

Me who would rather be the same height as someone or would even prefer to be a little taller:

magic-and-moonlit-wings:

Hunter!Jim is a manifestation of Jim’s sense of guilt

That’s why Hunter!Jim:

-Shows up when Jim is panicking about Love-struck!Jim being at the Nuñez barbecue; Jim’s primary feeling in that moment is guilt over Trollhunter stuff spilling over onto something that was supposed to be ‘normal’.

-Goes on that rant about ‘protecting Arcadia’ and how maybe he should run for political office, which would actually interfere with his capacity to trollhunt if he followed through with it; Jim feels like he’s supposed to be able to handle every pressure put on him and that it’s his job to take care of everything

-Tries to break up with Claire to focus on Trollhunting full-time; Jim feels bad that he can’t do classical boyfriend-girlfriend activities with Claire, because his job gets in the way, and Jim has also had it thrown in his face a few times that his feelings for Claire influenced his decision to rescue Enrique and risk freeing Gunmar.

-Yells at Jim about possibly letting Gunmar out, and how Jim can’t balance both worlds; things Jim has struggled with for the whole season and the whole series, respectively.

Hunter!Jim is, literally, Jim beating himself up for not being able to Protect Everyone All The Time or live up to every promise he ever makes to others and himself.

Wow. These are some pretty good points

Claire’s armour getting its big reveal in trollhunters season 3:

Jim’s facial expression once he saw it: “You would look GOOOOOD in that”.

Added bonus so you remember what I mean:

I’ve heard a lot of people that agreed with this, but shouldn’t troll Jim have had more human…abilities? I personally stan all Jim’s, but If he was being turned into a half troll shouldn’t he have had more human capabilities?

Maybe as a half troll he can somewhat burn in daylight ( I say ‘somewhat’, cause of the scene in wizards), but it would’ve been nice if he could’ve been able to eat human food for example. I mean he couldn’t even eat his own cooking, which couldn’t have made me sadder. I’m just saying, If he was supposed to turn into a half troll half human, he should’ve been able to have more access to a human life, cause really the only thing we see that doesn’t show him being completely troll is his skin turning back to normal after being in the sun in some scenes in Wizards.

ferisae:

Again, unable to do something nicer, but absolutely had to join #CLAIRENUÑEZSUPREMACY day on Twitter because she’s up there with Jim for me ! Fierce, strong, and with the conviction to fight to end of the earth for what/who she loves.

Ok, I was looking through some toa artwork here and I gotta say:

Idc what your opinion is on something or someone in the toa trilogy series, If you have a preference that’s fine. But please, don’t leave comments on these artists posts that don’t just sound insulting to the art itself, but what’s in it if you disagree with something.

With things like this, these people making artwork for us as fans and the art in general, only positive and thoughtful things should be commented, not the other way around. These people really wanted to make art and post it to their social media for fans to see, and obviously really love that scene, or characters they drew. So even just seeing something you don’t agree with or hated about a part of the toa trilogy in an art piece created by a fan (or really just anyone), why post hate on it when they clearly liked whatever or whoever they involved in it? These amazing artistic fans of these shows (and soon to be film) took hours out of their day(s) to create these pieces of art and post them for you to see and it hurts even me sometimes that sometimes even the very first comment is insulting whats in the art, or the art itself.

I’m personally not a person who creates art like many others here do, but I just wanted to put the message out: please, don’t post anything negative on any art piece post, even if you don’t like something in it. If you don’t like something in it, just ignore the post so the person who worked long and hard on that piece doesn’t get a little upset seeing something hateful on their work. Idk how many artists actually feel this way, but I do know a few that might wanna hear this. Sorry for ranting, I just hate seeing any hate posted on art pieces by artists (really any artist) that put so much effort into making it, and knowing their fandom would love it.

Ok, I’ve been thinking about this part.

I know we all know how much Claire loves Jim. We’ve seen it, heard it, and love seeing her show how much she does. But after reading this a few times, I kept thinking how much they really showed it in Wizards (more moments that I guess went over my head in Wizards).

Jim’s said here during an interview, after wizards was released, that love and compassion were really more of the true elements in resurrecting Jim. But the fact that only one tear drop from Claire brought him back not only from the dead, but back to his normal self (after connecting with his soul in the shadow realm as well). There was that much love for Jim in only one of her tear drops.

This girl is seriously in love with this boy and it’s warming my heart so much

The more I looked at this picture the more I kept looking at Jim and Claire’s cheeks. Their blushing. I feel like this could be such a funny moment since someone looks like they accidentally interrupted them while being intimate and it literally cause their cheeks to turn pink. What are you two doing that causes you to blush when someone walks in on you? When have they ever blushed before?

Just something I made after the trailer was released. I’m still trying to figure out this scene just by how relieved or devastated Jim looks (and also how worried Toby looks for him in the corner).
