Hello, my name is Maria and I work on a single piece for ages. This is one more WIP from Yaroslavny which I work on for a couple months alongside with other small artworks.

Looks like my artworks can be more picturesquely without lines. A few sketches would help me to find it out maybe….maybe not.

Still work on Yaroslavny artwork. I feel kinda obsesed with drawing smoke so it’s going to be a lot of it here.

As usual during my travels I loook for a place where my artwork can be placed. Here’s Selfie on the walls of Florence. By the way this piece is available as a sticker on Redbubble…not in such a big scale as on this image, of course

This artwork depicts a bird gesture which symbolizes human desire to look good for others. The peacock feather is a symbol of vanity in many cultures around the world. One of hands is decorated with a conteprorary jewellery to emphasis a fact that selfie is a present days social phenomenon. The fire in the root of a conmposition shows the agony of making a realy good selfie.

The work goes slowly before my vacation. Here’s a small visualisation of a WIP image.

I work on some improvements in Utopia artwork.
Here’s a part of them which depicts Kyiv Pechersk Lavra dome. It’s also known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves, is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery and one of teh main landmarks of Ukrainian capital.

It’s just an image about setting yourself on fire.

Truth.

This piece is about fake news and double standards that surround us with people lies. Poppis are a symbol of peace and here they hide a gun. Human hands ends with an explosion and smoke that symbolises all wars and conflicts where people die.

Civilisation 02.

The image depicts the human civilisation wich is concentrated on trends and being a customer. The smoke is a result of explodion in every hot point on the Earth where people are dying every day. The mallow flowers are very common in my homeland Ukraine where one of a hot point is located. Bones depict a death which we bring everywhere with our steps. Rooster feathers were used in many cultures to decorate hair-dos and clothing which is a metaphor of our desire to cover problems and crimes.

Civilisation 01.

The image depicts the human civilisation wich covers our crimes and blood on our hands with gold. Column symbolises the highest achievemnts of the Western culture. Dead fish in a plastic bag shows our consumer attitude to everything around.

My family and I went a couple weeks ago to a small town in Poalnd Gniew which litterary translates as “anger”. I guess it’s a nice place for my Truth artwork with a gun and explosion smoke.
