Waterlining in front of El Cap

So I love slacklining and here I got to do it over water for the first time and in front of the famous El Cap! We all had such an amazing afternoon with good friends…it was perfect. Although I took a couple hard falls in the water, it was quite refreshing!

First Yosemite Hike

Our first morning in Yosemite we woke up and went on a hike. I do not know the name of this hike or view point, our friend Will took us and it is off the beaten path. We were the only ones on the trail and we climbed up scaling a cliffside. Not going to lie it was a little scary at some points. However, at the top, we were rewarded with an amazing view!

First Yosemite Sunset

We made it into Yosemite on the second day just in time for sunset! Kolbi and I were in awe! The sky lit up bright pink, red, and orange and we got our first glimpse of Half Dome in the distance! Next was a not so fun adventure of finding our friends and campsite in the dark.

Red Rocks Amphitheater

I have always wanted to see a concert here! Not only did I finally get to but I also got to see my favorite band play there, The Dirty Heads, among other bands I really like. The sound was amazing. This was the single best concert i have ever been to.

Maroon Bells

Reported to be North America’s most photographed lake. These beautiful mountains were named the Maroon Bells after the Iron content they carry, giving them that maroon/red color. You have to take a bus to get to it and where the bus drops you off you can choose to stay at the first lake or do the 5 mile round trip hike to Little Crater Lake. This place was full of wildlife and beautiful aspen trees!

Mt. Evans | 14,265 ft
Colorado, June 2018
My first time on top of a 14er!! Although I drove to the top it was still a very special experience. I had just come from 500 ft elevation so I could definitely notice the difference in the air. I saw tons of mountain goats and sheep, which was also a first for me!

Bye Mexico

I really enjoyed my time in Mexico. I felt very spoiled on this trip. I’m so used to staying at hostels, getting around by bus and making my own meals when I travel. It was nice to stay in a nice resort and have drinks brought to me while I lounged by the pool.

Hotel California

The original Hotel California! Yes, the one that’s sung about in the Eagle’s song. This was pretty cool to see! It was recently renovated and quite small. My grandma talked and made friends with the owner, so we got a private tour of the pool area that only guests are allowed in and it was STUNNING!

We took a day trip to Todos Santos. A small town just a couple hours drive from Cabo San Lucas and home to the original Hotel California, where we ate lunch! The atmosphere was amazing. There were bright vibrant colors and shops. I really enjoyed my afternoon here.
