Washed Out - All Over Now
Where do i begin? Well we can go back to the winter of 2009. When i first heard of Washed Out. I was on YouTube listening to music when i saw in the description a song called “Feel It All Around” Sounded very spiritual to me so i clicked it. Little did i know i was about to be thrown into a genre of music that would change my taste in music completely. I had never heard of Chillwave before that second of clicking that video.
After being totally amazed by what i heard i had to keep going. So there i was on this wintery afternoon listening to some of the most amazing pieces of music over and over again. And here i am 2013 still listening to one of my favorite bands ever. This time with a new album release. Paracosm (which stands for a fantasy world made by children, animals or adults with its own everything) is with out a doubt the most beautiful Chillwave Washed Out album i have ever heard.
This album is very spiritual with lots of emotion and meaning. While “Within and Without” was a very good album this album has such a good feel to it. Fits right in with summer :). The song “All Over Now” is the last track on their new release and i think it defines what Chillwave should make you feel and how it should sound. Definitely my favorite song on the album. Thank you Washed Out for another flawless album release.

Lee Weather is a small side project of Ernest Greene creator of Washed Out. He’s only released maybe 1 or 2 songs under that name. This is amazing not to mention the video is pretty awesome as well.
