The highlight of my week - maybe even my year - was getting lost in myself and this forest for a few short moments last weekend. While I wouldn’t go back to where we were this time last week battling a hurricane, I certainly would love to take a nice walk through this delicious forest again right now.

It blows my mind to think this site is part of the Bears Ears area to be reduced. This is Perfect Kiva… It lies within one of the most ruin rich areas I’ve ever had the pleasure to roam.
This area was bubbling with human activity before Jesus was a thing…
The descendants of the handprints on the walls are alive and their cultural heritage is still pertinent as ever. .

“Per gli artisti il grande problema da risolvere è mettersi in mostra.” - Honoré De Balzac ❤️Come posso far conoscere il mio lavoro? Come farmi notare? Come faccio a trovare un pubblico? Tu come ci sei riuscito? Alcune persone recentemente mi hanno proprio posto queste domande e a mia volta me le ero e continuo a pormele ogni giorno. Il punto è che in realtà mi sono sempre più concentrata nel fare, nel produrre ciò che mi faceva star bene, esprimendo i miei pensieri, stati d'animo e visione delle cose attraverso la scrittura e gli handmades e anche se può sembrare assurdo sono sempre state le persone ad avermi trovata in un modo o nell'altro e anche ad avermi dato sempre spunti nuovi per creazioni diverse. Certo che se vuoi che le persone ti trovino devi essere certo di mostrarti nella maniera migliore e di essere trovato creando un sito web o un profilo social qualsiasi e nutrirlo postando qualcosa tutti i giorni, come fosse un tamagotchi a cui dovete dedicarvi ogni momento. Questo periodo è un po’ tosto perché passato il periodo frenetico di Natale mi sento un po’ svuotata e smarrita artisticamente parlando. Necessitavo di uno stimolo e devo dire che questo libro è capitato al momento migliore perché è davvero ciò di cui avevo bisogno: un sacco di stimoli, consigli, opinioni, input e punti da seguire per cogliere le cose da un altro punto di vista. Mi sento di ringraziare @lepetitrabbit per avermelo fatto conoscere e di consigliarlo a tutti, che siate artisti o meno non importa, è proprio un ben libro a prescindere!
