I know that I don’t really have any lesson for this video. This post is more of an announcement/visual gift? Not really a gift haha. I had a couple free hours the other day while waiting for someone, and I decided to take some video of my favorite place in Changdeokgung Palace: Nakseonjae (낙선재). I liked the end result, and it was fun to make. So, I thought I would show it.^^
Unlike the other buildings in the palace that are famous for their beautiful and ornate colors and design, Nakseonjae was built rather plainly. And was used by different members of the royal family throughout history. It has stunning cherry blossoms (벚꽃), and I highly recommend anyone to check it out. It’s one of my favorite places. My mind feels very much at ease in this part of the palace.
And I’ll take a moment to apologize. I know I promised more lessons this spring, but I’ve been a lot busier than I ever imagined I would be. So, I am quite sorry I fell short of my promise. I even took a month preparing a new kind of video/audio lesson. I made the same lesson three different times, but in the end I didn’t like how it turned out, so I just hid it in my computer. I’m going to try again though.
I have a couple lessons written, but I haven’t drawn the comic yet! So, I’ll get those out as fast as I can. And, for those who have followed me for a while, you might remember that I made a PDF of beginner vocabulary. Well, I have a new PDF with practice questions that go along with that first one I made! I will try to wrap that up soon too!
But until I can get those out, I hope I can tide you over with some pretty flowers!
