March (and part of April! And the end of Feb!) was Maureen O’Hara month. 42 films were watched. A quick canter through some of the later films: Our Man in Havana, Against All Flags (with Errol Flynn), Lady Godiva (with George Nader), Wings Of Eagles, Malaga/Fire Over Africa (not recommended!), The Magnificent Matador (with Anthony Quinn), Redhead From Wyoming (with Alexander Scourby), Wings of Eagles again, At Sword’s Point and The Quiet Man. At some point in the year I hope to catch up with the half dozen later movies I have. Her autobiography, Tis Herself, is a very good read, and you get the impression throughout that she’s a straight shooter.
