Hey guys. I know this blog is almost completely inactive at this point, but I just heard the news about Una a few minutes ago, and it felt wrong not to post something in her honor.

Obviously I didn’t know Una personally, but Sherlock has touched my life in an extremely significant way, and so Una has also touched my life simply by being such a core part of the show. Her portrayal of Mrs. Hudson is a shining example of kindness, bravery, cleverness, and resilience, and I sincerely hope that I can embody even half of that when I get to that age.

Una, thank you for sharing your talents with the world. You are greatly respected and greatly missed.

Hey followers! Yup, I’m still alive. I actually never left Tumblr. My personal blog has always been active, I just lost motivation with this one. I know the Sherlock fandom isn’t very active anymore, what with all the salt after season 4, but I still wanted to make this post for those of you who may still be out there.

In case you haven’t heard, Tumblr is doing a purge of NSFW content starting December 17th. You can read details here. Apparently the Tumblr app was removed from Apple’s app store because of all the porn, so now the site runners are panicking and going all nun on us.

I’m honestly not sure what’s going to happen with this blog. I read the new guidelines and they only mentioned images, so I think we might actually be safe since all the NSFW content on this blog is just the language used. Irene Adler might give me some trouble, but hopefully not since she’s hiding her “female presenting nipples.”

I realize that all this might not even matter since this blog has been inactive for so long, but I honestly was planning on reviving it if we ever get a season 5. Yes, I’ve been busy with real life, and yes, post engagement went way down after season 4, but the big struggle was running out of material to work with. I’d really like to get this up and running again if Mofftiss ever bless us with another season, but obviously I can’t do that if Tumblr won’t let me.

So, what’s the backup plan? Well, I did also set up a BBC Sherlock Pick-Up Lines Twitter. I never finished copying all the Tumblr posts over to the Twitter account, but I still have all the images saved on my computer, so none of the pick-up lines will be lost even if this Tumblr gets shut down. I intend to keep the Tumblr if possible, but if not possible, I’ll resume work on the Twitter.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns, or if you just want to chat. Like I said, I never left Tumblr, and I probably won’t leave even after the purge. (I’m really pissed off about the purge, but there are still lots of other stuff on here I like besides the NSFW stuff.) I miss the hell out of you guys.

Hey guys. Just wanted to pop in and apologize for being so inactive here. I’ve been busy and kind of stressed out. I won’t get into it, but oh my god I hate job hunting. I hate it only slightly less than I hate working retail.

Remember, you can always send me ideas for pick-up lines or photosets or whatever. It really does help me a lot when I don’t have to do all the brainstorming on my own. Especially right now when it’s been several months since the last season and we have no idea when/if we’re getting another one.

Anyway, I’m really truly sincerely sorry for neglecting you guys so much. I promise I’m not dead and I promise that I don’t love you any less, I just have a lot to take care of at the moment.

This is a bit late for me to say, but HAPPY NEW YEAR! We have been blessed in 2017 for the Fullmetal Alchemist live action movie, the sole reason why we started this blog in the first place! And thank you for following us throughout 2016-2017! It has been an awesome journey.

Sorry for being inactive for the past weeks. Our admin has been really busy with our lives and we haven’t managed to catch up with the later half of the promotional stuff (interviews, variety show appearances, etc). We will try to finish the remaining untranslated interviews and possibly some variety show appearances featuring the cast. We’d like to thank @ryoosukeyamada fansub team too for doing most of the subbing for their variety show appearances.

Though its already 2018, there is still no news of the international release dates, but we will make sure to update you guys ASAP once the info comes out! As soon as I am done with my real life stuff I’ll do my best to share more stuff about the movie here!

As of today blackpinkofficial will be officially closing.

I’m so proud of the work that all of the staff, new and old, have done to make this blog what it is. We wanted to create a space where tumblr blinks could find quick and easy updates on BLACKPINK and we’ve done just that. It’s been an honor but… we’re not the same staff that we were back when BLACKPINK were active. In fact, I (admin Aly) am the only person that really updates anything lately. I’ve tried scouting for mods but no one is really wanting to update, which I’m not complaining about at all!

There comes a point in time where everything must eventually come to an end. While this ending is very bittersweet for us and it’s going to take some time to get used to not updating BLACKPINK’s every move, I think it will be beneficial in the long run. Those that have worked on this blog have come from all walks of life just to update on four amazing and talented girls and I think that’s something to celebrate as we close things down.

On a more personal note, I’ve been working on blackpinkofficial since the spring of 2017 and working as an active admin since the winter of 2017. Five years of my life has been dedicated to not only BPO but BLACKPINK! I will never stop loving the girls, that’s one thing you can count on, but it’s time for me to move on. With a full time job and college courses on top of that, there’s just no time for me to update you all anymore.

I want to say thank you to those that have followed us for years and to those that have just stumbled across our blog recently. It’s because of you guys that blackpinkofficial has over 97k followers! I so desperately wanted to wait it out until BPO hit 100k with you all but sadly we won’t be making it that far anymore. You have no idea what this blog means to me. It’s been like my baby since I became an admin. Every morning I check our inbox, then I check our Twitter update list to see what I need to update or if I need to update. I know I’ve made a lot of jokes here and there about YG and I hope that those jokes made you guys laugh. There have also been moments where I’ve come across as mean or rude and I apologize for that. 

I know we all have been waiting and waiting for a comeback. We always seem to have to wait and it’s very exhausting but waiting with you all made it somehow worth it. BLACKPINK have brought together almost 100,000 of you on this website and I hope that you continue to support them, we know that we will. 

Again, thank you! I hope you all are happy in whatever the future holds for you.
