Sasori knows this is different from the way Deidara braces him into the ground, his body trapped against the cave’s rough flooring. Stone digs into the small of his back, up skin he can almost feel in a body, thanks to lack of chakra, that’s halfway between where he was and where he’s supposed to be. Neither human nor puppet, he’s swept under again by the initial sense of overstimulation that always comes with this jutsu. Deidara’s fingers dug into his hips are doused in frustration, hard enough to leave bruises should Sasori be human enough.

Still, she does well to keep her emotionless façade. “We need you to retrieve someone for us. They have a large bounty on their head and we would like to turn him in to the collections office. Alive.”
That doesn’t make sense, that’s usually the Zombie Combo’s jo–Wait. Sasori catches on right away. “You don’t think we can take the jinchuuriki back in one piece,” he scoffs in sheer disbelief.
