Between the heat of the fire and how much Alistair was pacing around, you were nearly sweating as you tried to enjoy your book. The room was a complete contrast to the weather outside, bitterly cold and windy with thick snow falling from the sky.
It had been snowing for days now and you were lucky that the cabin had been stocked before the storm hit or you would have starved. Neither of you could leave the house and it was beginning to irritate your mate. His normal ruby eyes were beginning to fade to black.
You heard another deep sigh and rolled your eyes, setting your book down beside you as you did. “What?”
“Nothing.” Alistair huffed as he came to a stop in front of the fire. His blonde hair was tied back into a small bun, the fire casting shadows against his pale skin. His jaw was tight, fingers twisted tensely together.
You pushed yourself up from the couch, moving to stand beside him. You nudged his arm gently, letting him know you were close before moving to wrap your arm fully around him. He relaxed against you, letting his head fall upon your own.
A smile tugged at your lips as the two of you stood together and you thought back to a time when Alistair hated to be touched. He was still touchy sometimes, but the two of you had come a long way in the short few years you’d know him.
His hand slowly twisted through your own and he turned you to face him. His looks were always intense, always had you feeling flushed from head to toe. His other hand grabbed your free hand and he pulled you closer before shuffling his feet back and forth.
You grinned now at him, not used to seeing this sweeter side of him. “This is nice.”
He merely hummed in agreement, spinning the two of you around your living room. You closed your eyes and leaned your head forward to rest on his chest, trusting him to guide you around.
The lights from the fire and Christmas tree illuminated the room, casting colors of orange and red and green around your feet. You giggled lightly when Alistair tipped you back, grabbing tightly onto him.
His own lips were tilted up, the stress from earlier completely gone from him as he leaned down to kiss you. Your foreheads rested together, noses brushing softly together as you leaned to kiss him once more.
Alistair smiled softly at you before pulling back and beginning your dance once more, the Christmas lights and heavy snow as your background.
So I was really looking for a cute couple to draw , and for some reason the first thing that came up to my mind was Alistair and Bunny from #everafterhigh . I’ve always wanted to make a fan art of these two :3 . With my sketchbook 7X10 cm .

So, I was quarantined a few weeks ago (didn’t get the you-know-what fortunately) and I had plenty of time to rethink my Warden’s character arc. In my game, I had her have a happy ending with Alistair after having him do the nasty with Morrigan, even if it never really felt right. I was also too much of a coward to change my supposed “canon” timeline but then I realised it’s just a game and I can do whatever I want with my character lmao.
So now, my Surana makes the final sacrifice after making Alistair king (they both agreed to call off the r/s because of his marriage to Anora). Please ignore how Morrigan is not supposed to be in the comic - I didn’t realise that she fking ditches you if you don’t agree to her demon baby plan. Poor Bodahn. His inventory always get crammed up with rubbish. (But nowadays the worst loot goes to the worst merchants that I never visit anyways. Good for my eyes. Probably good for Bodahn’s career.)

sleep sleep soft sleep Apparently Alistair is my no1 moral support character and I’ve been drawing him when feeling lonely. I liked this sketch and so I granted it colours.
Family~ everyone deserves kisses everyone gets kisses~ Just couldn’t bother with full armour for everyone. I saw the Sacred Ashes-trailer not long ago and since then, Morrigan’s robes in the trailer became canon for me. (You know her personal mission when you get a robe for her whith better stats - the first time I was so happy, “wow maye she can cover up a bit now”. Boy was I disappointed. (Then I went through the same thing with Jack in ME2.)) Also, I don’t have any DLCs (ugh) so I’ve never played with Shale, but I still love her. Will probably neverrr colour.
Since Tabris is from Denerim, I decided the squad had to go incognito. I dressed them all up in-game and made up a story for them. So, Zevran and Tabris are pretending to be a rich couple from Antiva, wanting to make a large donation to the Chantry. Tabris is the Fereldan wife who misses her old country. Now they’re traveling Ferelden, looking at different Chantry locations with two representatives (Morrigan and Alistrair) who are showing them around.
A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to start talking to the ever lovely @zuendwinkel who it turns out, is just as big a slut for Alistair and Art Nouveau as I am! And lo and behold - look at this absolutely stunning piece they created!!!!!!!
Thank you so much, @zuendwinkel! I love everything about this! I also think it mgiht be time to stop calling yourself a “drawing noob” because this is beautiful, beautiful work!
