soooo…lmao i have a lot of feelings about alistair in the fade. mostly that our boy has grown in the last ten years since the blight and hes now much more confident and self assured and really isnt bothered by what the nightmare is trying to torment him with !!! sobs
I WANTED TO UPLOAD ALL OF THE TEA ART BY ITSELF AND I FORGOT. Also these are all on redbubble because yeah, I need all of them as stickers to put everywhere because I’m trash.
This series started as a way to get me comfortable illustrating different skin tones & to build up palettes for all the characters. But I’m finding myself really digging doing the quick portrait sketches.
I thought this idea up more than a year ago when I was still unsure about the fate of my Warden, and after listening/crying to Lemony Snicket’s The Beatrice Letters, I kinda had to merge the two together. It was also a good practice study for Alistair’s face even though it took a year+ for me to actually finish the whole thing.
Question: Many, many years ago, when I first played Dragon Age, I read every fanfic I could get my hands on. I have most of them saved, but one in particular I quite enjoyed I can’t find anywhere except archived on the Wayback machine that my friend managed to find. I can copy the stories, but at 40 chapters each, it will take me forever (since I can’t download them.)
So I’m sending out a plea: does anyone know of/have saved/know how I can contact the writer of the series of stories called “What We Become?” The author was Crisium, and they wrote Amell/Alistair and Amell/Cullen, in a series with the works “What We Were”, “What We Are”, “What We Become”, and “What We Choose.”
I loved What We Choose in particular bc it was such a unique perspective and very much not my headcanon, and I’d love to read the fics again not on the Wayback machine. I would be eternally grateful for any help!
this has been in WIP hell for several months now, so i’m calling it and saying it’s done. i love these two and i’m obsessed with drawing them post-inquisition
