-Some parents should not be parents to their pups, easy said, but it’s very challenging to really take any pups away from their birth parents because there’s almost nowhere for them to go
-Omega puppies getting emotionally abused every time they say anything and now having to apologize constantly as an adult and always contradicting themselves so no one will get mad at them
-Alpha puppies taking hits that are supposed to be meant for one of their parents and whimpering and cleaning up their own wounds while their parents fight in the other room
-Beta puppies practically being neglected constantly because their parents didn’t want a useless beta pup and wanted more alphas
-All of the household responsibilities being pushed off onto the oldest’s shoulders and they become a barrier for their younger siblings and their parents
-Parents denying the fact that they ever abused their pups even though it’s very clear that they do
-Parents neglecting their pups for other people or “the greater good” or especially their jobs
-Parents throwing their pup’s mental illnesses back in their face and making sure they know how useless they are to them
-Pups moving out and growing up the hard way, slowly trying to figure out what they do with no parents because they went no contact for themselves
-Pups having small select groups of friends after separating from their parents and having their own packs who love them unconditionally
-Just pups surviving abuse and mean people
I’ve had a rough… 23 years and I just needed some personal hope and writing and art does that for me. Haha coping mechanisms ✌️
-Bachelor packs is a group of masculine and or male individuals. These packs are usually no bigger than 5 and usually develop around 12-16. The time where their puberty and or presenting starts.
-Bachelor packs have a ‘leader,’ who are usually the ones that invited/brought the members together.
-Bachelor packs can have individuals of any dynamic and gender. However, it should be noted that Bachelor packs are most commonly, and mostly seen in males. People who identify as neither boy or girl can also join and form Bachelors. They are often observed as masculine presenting due to testosterone. Sometimes a female, who’s got more teresterone in them will also join a Bachelor pack, but they rarely form them.
-Bachelor packs form a close bond, ones that can be brought down to sibling hood. Rarely are couples seen in these.
-Parents see these packs as something positive if they join the right pack, that is.
-Some gangs have a history of firstly being Bachelor Packs before they expanded.
-Bachelor Packs stop being Bachelor packs if the members have pups with one another. Then it is regarded as a family pack.
-People Often refer to them as male cheetahs, lions, and dolphins. Dolphin being the most common term since male dolphins are very routy.
-Bachelor packs are often known to drift apart once they start to get mates and have pups. Though that doesn’t mean they all do, and some still keep that strong bond even into elder-hood.
-If a Bachelor pack starts to drift it isn’t uncommon for groups of two to form within the pack.
-Often times, a grooms groomsmen are members of their bachelor pack if they have formed one.
-These packs are different from an all male friendship pack. These packs are known to scent not just the wrist but also the arms and ankles. These packs also differ from a friendship pack due to them marking eachother via the elbow.
-Bachelor packs will mark eachother on their inner elbows. How does this work exactly? They’ll scent it before lightly biting, then the next member will scent it and then bite ontop of the previous bite and so on. It’s a weird process to everyone, even to the members. These marks go away in about 2 and a half months.
In my main verse, Beta’s love hinged barrettes. Males and females and everything inbetween and out thats a Beta wears them. Women/feminine Betas are often seen with many clipped into their hair and bangs, which can make them look a little silly.
They often wear this to keep the hair out their face as well as a way to scent things easier. Using items that were kept in their hair to scent things was done by their Beta ancestors and has passed to Betas in the current world. It is believed to be an instinctive behavior.
This doesn’t have to do with the fanfic I’m writing soon, but I just wanted to know. How do Alphas/Omegas/Betas know what they are? Are they born alpha? Or omega? Or beta? Or is the title earned? Can they choose it? Like how does it happen

Author’s Note: Hi friends! I am getting back into the writing flow again after a break and a gross bout of depression. I am trying something new here (or very old, for my NGL crowd… but this isn’t exactly like my NGL A/B/O universe). It’s been so long since I wrote this trope and my god, I forgot how much I love it. I was inspired by @stargazingfangirl18’s 5k Soft!Dark Challenge and decided to join in the fun. Part One
“Step forward and give me your wrist.”
Jolting, you blinked up at the barrel-chested security guard. His stare was unflinching beneath furrowed, dark brows. The curved device he was holding beeped impatiently, the tip blinking red. You swallowed.
“Your wrist,” he repeated with a light growl.
Shuffling towards him, you shifted your heavy binder to one arm and hurriedly pushed up the sleeve of your oversized sweater muttering a quiet, “Sorry.”
The guard didn’t acknowledge your apology and merely swept the smooth tip of the device across your pulse. There was no answering beep, no signal of a result detected—not that you were expecting one. But the security guard certainly was given the way his frown deepened. Suspicious eyes lifted to your quiet, steady gaze and then fell to the space where your shoulder met your neck. You knew what he was going to demand before the words left his mouth.
“Tilt your head to the side.”
“Is that really necessary?” You asked with a single, unamused brow. “Your little device just told you what I am.”
“It didn’t tell me shit,” the man grunted.
“Correct,” you agreed, trying to keep your voice even. “Which is an answer in and of itself. Do we really need to escalate this further?”
The security guard went very still and for a long moment he just stared at you. Then—
“Are you resisting?”
The question was low and quiet and the threat behind it had a chill slithering up your spine like the underbelly of a snake. The man’s hand slid to the electric baton dangling at his waist and your heart dropped to the soles of your feet.
Omg Rev, this was so AMAZING!!!! The way you captured the calm reserved confidence of Andy’s and his presence, that was fantastic! The take on this type of AU is very topical with all of the dystopia happening everywhere. (gestures to everything)

How would dynamics work?
How common would each dynamic be?
Would alphas and/or omegas be more common than betas? Or would betas be more common?
Would omegas/alphas only bear/sire children during heats/ruts?
How much control would an omega/alpha have during their heats/ruts? (for example: an omega has to stay home and can’t control themselves vs. an omega can continue to go about their business without much change)
Will betas, as a dynamic, exist?
Would there be more dynamics than just the traditional alpha/beta/omega dynamics? (for example: omegas have heats and bear children, alphas have ruts and sire children, betas don’t have heats or ruts, and a fourth dynamic have both heats and ruts)
Would inter-dynamic individuals exist?

How would “sex” work?
What would differences in “sex” be? (so how would they differentiate between different “sexes”)

My daydream is literally a digimon abo AU, but like Omega Daisuke and Alpha Ken.
Like just imagine this loud super wild omega and this polite alpha. Bonus points if the 02 kids don’t realize Daisuke’s an omega until after Ken joins them and Daisuke uses his scent to calm Ken. Then they just look at Daisuke like ’????’.
