Starting things off with September - the Aardvark.
These nocturnal creatures are native to Africa. Their name, which comes from Afrikaans (erdvark) means “earth pig,” due to their hog-like snout. They don’t fare well in extreme heat, so they remain in their burrows until they can hunt in cooler night temperatures; feeding on ants and termites.

The northern tamandua (Tamanduamexicana) and the southern tamandua (Tamandua tetradactyla). Also called lesser anteaters and collared anteaters. They are in the family Myrmecophagidae along with the giant anteater (Myrmecophagatridactyla).

The design is a combination of polar bear, anteater and caribou.
A large carnivore that lives within the Arctic Circle. It has a elongated body build, tail and snout with thick layer of dense underfur and an outer layer of guard hairs which helps keep it warm even in the coldest of temperatures. It’ll even use its long tail to cover itself if needed. The Ursimil is mostly a solitary animal and only seeks a female during the mating season in which most males will compete for. It has a strong sense of smell that helps track its prey through thick blizzards and ice.
I wanted to have some kind of Dark Magician sona and was unsure what species to choose (I at first wanted a more furry-compatible character like a dragon or whatever, since I really wanted to commission some friends to draw art for me, but nothing clicked, as always). A friend then suggested a pillbug as a joke because I love them and have them as pets x) And tbh, it just was perfect. Look at him go!
I got him an alternative form, an anteater. why? look at him. that’s why.
Has anyone any idea what a Celtic Guardian OC could be animal-wise. I need one for this anteater form. I’m almost going with frog, but idk it’s maybe a bit too silly x’) Pitch me ideas please

Oof, it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything :V I’ve been playing Animal Crossing. And drawing Animal Crossing characters. And thinking about Animal Crossing when I’m not doing either.
