I finally had enough courage to watch Capsule Monsters and it was so funny, I mean why they made Yami into a magical boy lol if I was KT I would kill them. But let’s be honest, Yami looks good in anything he wear ^_^ and I was learning to merge anime screenshots using Photoshop, and what is better to practice on than Yami screenshots? so here are some anime stitch for Dark Magician armour from episodes 6 & 7

Reason for the ship name: In my Pocket Dimension AU, a deck leader is in charge of keeping things in order in decks. For Yugi and Tea, I personally see Dark Magician as Yugi’s deck leader and Magician of Faith as Tea’s deck leader.
Why the ship could work: Since Dark Magician reflects Yugi’s kindness and Atem’s confidence, while Magician of Faith reflects Tea’s compassionate heart, it seems right if the two had fallen in love with each other. Outside of duels, they could even talk about how their owners would make a cute couple.
I’ll be honest I just happened to be thinking about yugioh and comic sans and made this on a whim - having such a serious-stakes show contrasted by a notoriously hard-to-take serious font would be so funny!
(also it’s hard to comic-sans a hieroglyph but i tried my best!)

Today I learned of a play called ‘the Devil in Sherman Marsh,’ a modern retelling of Faust, that centers around a magic Yu-Gi-Oh card and apparently culminates in a duel. I hope they got their YGO lore right or I’ll banish them to the Shadow Realm! :P
EDIT: So after finding the play script….Dark Magician is the only real card used and the duels are pretty much nonsense. (The play came out in 2008 but that’s enough time to at least do some research on the cards!) Maybe us YGO fans could rewrite the duels to make sense. XD
