I’m having a ton of fun with this dude ahhhhh. Experimenting with a style closer to the original and something a little more stylized. Nailing a good balance would be great.

Well lookie who it is, Tap and Rumble! Boxing Bugs may be on hiatus but that doesn’t mean I can’t start drawing them again. I’ve really missed these boys.
The bugs in this world have both advanced and simpler tech, but space is a complete mystery. They haven’t even been there yet! So Rumble voices just a few of the questions he has that, maybe one day, will be answered for him.

Meet Lucy Charm, the luckiest girl in the world! Born with unrelenting good luck, her life is absolutely perfect- and she’s sick and tired of it.
Sure, things being handed to you on a silver platter can be nice, but it isn’t nearly as rewarding or special when it happens every day of your life, whether you want it or not.
Not to mention all the “friends” that surround her in hopes of benefitting from her natural good luck. All Lucy wants is to live a normal life with actual challenges, and fighting her good luck is a losing battle.
That is, until she meets Chuck. She finds her good luck is partially countered around him, and vise versa with his bad luck. She’s actually able to enjoy a somewhat normal life with him around. Not only that, but for once she finds a genuine friend in the unlucky clover, and tries her best to him to loosen up and enjoy life.

Finally got another ref done, and for one of my favorite characters in all this! Lucy becomes a really close friend to Chuck and gets them into plenty of shenanigans, while also encouraging Chuck to do more things without worrying about causing disasters.

Well known as the town bully and local hooligan, you don’t wanna be around when Sammie and his posse shows up. Unfortunately, Chuck usually is.
Sammie is more often than not on the receiving end of Chuck’s bad luck, making Chuck his main target. He’s usually trying to drive him out of town or get back at him for something he inexplicably ruined.
Is it smart to try bullying the kid who is know to set off unfortunate chain reactions? No, but that’s not gonna stop Sammie from trying.

Sound the bully alarm- gotta have someone to give Chuck a hard time (well, harder time). But don’t worry, he won’t get away with it that easy!

Chuck’s mom, Molly! A kindly ferret who lives in a cozy woodland house with her son.
Molly is a very upbeat and optimistic sort, always looking to the brighter side of everything. She’s got a major sweet tooth and loves to bake all kinds of treats.
When she was younger, she used to live with her sister and mother. It was then she found a baby Chuck in a clover patch, and ever since then cared for him like her own.
Unfortunately, due to the unlucky nature of the young clover, a lot of accidents started happening around the house, throwing her mother into a fit. Rather than putting Chuck out somewhere, Molly decided it’d be best to leave her old home and set out in search of a new one for herself and new son.
From here on Molly raised Chuck on her own, waving off each mess he caused with a smile. She encourages her son to see the positive side of things, even when it can be hard to do so.

A four leaf clover, what a rare sight! Everyone knows four leaf clovers are a sign of good luck! So why does this kid look so bummed out? Unfortunately for him (and everyone else), Chuck is anything but lucky.
Chuck is a clumsy young boy who, right from birth, seemed to inexplicably attract bad luck to whoever he’s around. Everywhere he goes he manages to break things and cause accidents, although not on purpose.
He’s a lonely kid, and ostracized wherever he goes. It seems no matter how careful he is, bad things keep happening. It feels like it’ll never end…
However there are a few important people in his life that help show him there’s still happiness to be had, no matter how bad things look. One of those people being his mom Molly, who is a constant source of encouragement.
Eventually, Chuck even manages to make close friends he never thought he’d have. Maybe things aren’t as bad as they seem?

So yeah this is one of the original characters for a future project- Tough Luck Chuck! I’ve got a whole lot more to share, including the aforementioned Molly and other friends! Keep an eye out for that.

A Pac-Man update? Sound the alarms! I was away from this way longer than I anticipated to be, but I’m getting back on the grind. I only have one more page prepared atm that’ll go up next saturday so look forward to that! We’re so close to wrapping up this chapter.
Anyway, after Pac managed to avoid our girl Wandy, the trio goes to a new face for help- Professor Pac! He’s astounded by Pac-Man’s new look, too bad Pac doesn’t share his excitement.
