Happy Tattoo-versary to me!
Today marks 5 years since I joined the industry, and what a 5 years it’s been!
As someone who’s never been to uni or art school, or had any kind of art education, I think I’ve done quite well for myself!
Spending my teen years sat in my bedroom listening to music and drawing seems to have paid off
It’s probably been the fastest 5 years of my life, but they say time flies when you’re having fun so ♀️
Here’s to the next 5, can’t wait to see where it takes me!

“Persephone Goddess of Spring/Queen of the Underworld” Again I went with the classic description of her. I gave her a flower crown that has Narcissus flowers in it since there are associated with her at Hades. Her dress is a little bit fancier than Hestia’s. Since Persephone is a big fluffy girl her dress kind of shows that. I have her holding a pomegranate since that is the most recognizable symbol for her to hold. Her dress will be light blue. Xoxo! “Hades God of the Underworld” I went mostly with the classic description of him but we decided on a German Shepard puppy version of Cerberus. Hades has a lot of symbolism so it’s really hard to fit everything in there. I went with some of the most recognizable things that would fit with the painting. His clothing will be gray. I have put the helmet of darkness/invisibility on the ground like he took it off when he got to Mount Olympus. It will have more detail in the metal. He Is holding his two prong Bident/pitchfork. He also had a Bird scepter and the screech owl is associated with him. So I combine the two. There will be fire coming off the end of the prongs.
⚡️Greek Gods & Goddesses Cats Commission Rough Sketches! For a really long time now I’ve been painting five Greek Gods/Goddesses Cats on Mount Olympus! Five precious cats as their namesakes… Zeus, Hades, Persephone, Ares & Hestia. This is my biggest & most elaborate painting I’ve ever created so far! It is 18" x24" acrylic on canvas sheet. I have been sharing all of my works in progress pics with my Patreon Patrons & some in a few TikTok videos so far but I’m ready to share this with everyone since it’s getting really close to being finished. Also I can sell prints & gift items of this painting too! :) Thank you again to my client for being soooo Awesome! xoox! Okay when I first did the cover for my story it was okay, but it didn’t feel right. So I started over and love it more!
Using Corel Essentials works so much better for me.
Now I have to redo the first several pages.

Here I am in my princess dress working on an organic assemblage piece that I have actually finished now, “Summer Harvest”. Penser à #jackiekennedy renvoie immédiatement une myriade d'images à l'esprit. Il y a celles d'une #flotus First Lady tout juste veuve, en état de choc dans son tailleur rose, à Dallas en novembre 1963, mais aussi celles d'une femme droite et élégante à l'allure seventies, cachée derrière de grosses lunettes noires, qui tente de se frayer un passage parmi les paparazzi.
Beaucoup se la remémorent également comme cette Première dame d'un nouveau genre, tirée à quatre épingles dans des tailleurs impeccables, un collier de perles au cou, et un brushing lui aussi irréprochable.

Working with color can be tricky: balancing hue, value, temperature - and then making sure I’ve mixed enough (a challenge as I scale up). Gouache adds another layer of difficulty to all this, looking different when wet versus dry. I love it, but feel I never quite get used to it. Maybe that’s why my heart belongs to intaglio.
