“Ares God of War” Ares has a lot of armor & clothing! He has 2 white patches of fur & I wanted to make sure that the clothing didn’t cover them. His helmet, chest armor & shield will be gold. The feathers will be red and so will his cape & detailing on the shield. His pteruge is made of leather. He also is holding a spear & his shield will be leaning on stairs behind him. Xoxo! Carrie
“Persephone Goddess of Spring/Queen of the Underworld” Again I went with the classic description of her. I gave her a flower crown that has Narcissus flowers in it since there are associated with her at Hades. Her dress is a little bit fancier than Hestia’s. Since Persephone is a big fluffy girl her dress kind of shows that. I have her holding a pomegranate since that is the most recognizable symbol for her to hold. Her dress will be light blue. Xoxo! “Hades God of the Underworld” I went mostly with the classic description of him but we decided on a German Shepard puppy version of Cerberus. Hades has a lot of symbolism so it’s really hard to fit everything in there. I went with some of the most recognizable things that would fit with the painting. His clothing will be gray. I have put the helmet of darkness/invisibility on the ground like he took it off when he got to Mount Olympus. It will have more detail in the metal. He Is holding his two prong Bident/pitchfork. He also had a Bird scepter and the screech owl is associated with him. So I combine the two. There will be fire coming off the end of the prongs.
“Hestia Goddess of Hearth”. I think she looks so cute! I went with the classic description of Hestia, wearing modest clothing and a veil over her head. In an ancient Greek painting of her she’s holding 4 flowers so I have her holding 4 flowers too. They associate Purple Coneflowers with her so that’s what these flowers are. She also has a bowl of fire so I put that on the ground next to her. One of her colors is Lavender so I’m thinking that Pale Lavender would be a good color for her dress. I think it would look really pretty with her being an adorable ginger kitty & the darker purple flowers & the fire reflecting up at her. Xoxo! Carrie
⚡️Greek Gods & Goddesses Cats Commission Rough Sketches! For a really long time now I’ve been painting five Greek Gods/Goddesses Cats on Mount Olympus! Five precious cats as their namesakes… Zeus, Hades, Persephone, Ares & Hestia. This is my biggest & most elaborate painting I’ve ever created so far! It is 18" x24" acrylic on canvas sheet. I have been sharing all of my works in progress pics with my Patreon Patrons & some in a few TikTok videos so far but I’m ready to share this with everyone since it’s getting really close to being finished. Also I can sell prints & gift items of this painting too! :) Thank you again to my client for being soooo Awesome! xoox! Anyway, Idk what happened but uhhhh my hair game leveled up hard core This is a picture inspired by @sofiajamora a gorgeous model who wore the outfit I used as a ref. Did something super cute because I had some serious art block yesterday . I need to do another piece with rainbow hair so I can get better at it, I feel like it could be super pretty if I could get it correct. Hour long doodle while waiting for a test to finish. Haven’t drawn in a while so I really wanted to do some hair coming back. Had to check if I could still do it lol!!
