ATLANTA LAYOVER * FLIGHT ATTENDANT LIFE

WATCH HERE

Hello hello! I had a pop-up trip to Atlanta Georgia. Our private jet was used for a different department in my company. That private jet flight attendant was willing to work on our airplane, but since it was a weekend, I decided to take the trip. Plus I have a friend in Atlanta so it was great to be able to grab dinner with her. I love when layover plans work out! Thanks for watching…

Atlanta, Georgia: Abilene, 3, needs someone steady and kind.  She is trying really, really hard to be brave, but the world feels much too big to her right now.   Abilene recently came back to PAWS Atlanta after about 6 weeks in her adoptive home because her adopters felt she wasn’t bonding with them in the way they’d hoped she would.

She came to them after being rescued along with many other dogs from the backyard of a suspected animal hoarding situation.   Because of their early experience, Abilene and the others in her group have had minimal socialization and will need extra time to feel comfortable in their new homes.

Her shelter friends know Abilene WILL bond with and love her new people, but she will need patience and a commitment that goes beyond a specific timeframe.

She needs someone who can see her potential, but also understand what she needs right now: stability, patience, and confidence-building.

Abilene feels her best when she is with another, more confident dog.  She would do best in a home with a friendly dog who can teach her the ropes.   Abilene is gentle and sweet and smart.

She’s also quite fearful of new people and situations.  She is still learning to walk on leash and loud noises or sudden movements may startle her.

If you’d like to learn more about Abilene and how to help her, the PAWS adoptions team can talk to you about ways to help her transition into your home and what to expect in that process.

Please complete an application at http://www.pawsatlanta.org/adopt/adoption-process and note you would be interested in meeting Abilene.

Cobra Kai Filming Locations; Day Three

okay you guys, I FINALLY GOT A LEAD!!! I only visited a few new locations today but I finally got some info on where they might be actually filming so tomorrow I’m going there and camping out all day in hopes of seeing something. Some guy literally saw Martin Kove just hanging out there the other day on set and got a picture with him, so the possibilities are really endless if we stay there long enough. Anyways, here’s where I went today!

Golf N’ Stuff — 1675 GA-85, Fayetteville, GA

probably the coolest location of the day! unfortunately this place is closed on weekdays but it actually ended up working well for us since it was deserted and the gates were open so we had free roam to take pictures. everything looked just like the show!!

Lakewood Diner — 2885 Lakewood Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30315

this is the diner that Miguel and Johnny ate at together. we didn’t go inside cuz it was kinda sketchy but it’s located at the same strip mall as the CK dojo so we actually found it on accident, we didn’t even hunt it down lol

Original Cobra Kai Dojo — 2033 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta, GA

same as the diner, this was right around the corner from the other CK dojo so we found it without even trying and noticed it’s resemblance. not in a great area but the building was recognizable by its shape i guess.

Cemetery (Mr. Miyagi’s Grave) — 1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA

this cemetery is gigantic so we’d never be able to find the actual grave that Daniel went to, but we did drive through and grab a picture knowing that it was there somewhere LOL.

anyways that’s all for today!! Hopefully something crazy exciting happens tomorrow when I visit Lithia Springs as it’s said that’s where their base camp for filming is right now. Tomorrow is supposed to be wrap day for the entire season unless they randomly had to extend it, but I assume everyone would be there to celebrate for the final day of filming so. See y’all tomorrow!

Cobra Kai Filming Locations; Day Two

hello and welcome to more of my filming locations!! still no run-ins with the cast, i literally have found the sets for Stranger Things, Raising Dion, First Kill, Legacies, and Naomi so far but not Cobra Kai anyways here’s some more locations

‘Cobra Kai’ Dojo — 2779 Lakewood Avenue SW, Atlanta, GA

so this one was difficult for us to tell which part of the building was actually the dojo considering their sign wasn’t there but we did eventually figure it out lmao, the interior looks just like it however it’s actually filmed on a soundstage and it’s modeled after the original building so it looks identical but it’s not where they film. the exterior part is tho!

that park where the kids plot to ruin yasmine’s party — 3201 MLK Jr. Dr. Atlanta, GA

the pic we got of this is like the exact shot from the show and it was super cool, it’s literally just a playground right in front of the building used for the S1 highschool but yeah!

The Mall — 2050 Lawrenceville Highway, Decatur, GA

unfortunately the mall is completely shut down inside with the exception of a few stores so we had to get in through the movie theater entrance and we could only get a picture from that side of the hall as the rest of the mall was blocked off completely, so we couldn’t get into the food court where most of the mall scenes were filmed :( the security even said the comic book store would open at 12pm but we tried to go in at 12:05 and the doors were still locked and nobody was there so.. major bad luck on this location but at least we still got a picture.

Canyon Party — 2455 Costley Mill Road NE, Conyers, GA

this spot was really exciting to me for some reason lmao, it looked just like it but the sizing is so crazy it looks gigantic on tv but the area was sooo small. they were actually filming Legacies here when we arrived but luckily this area was open for us to get pictures of still.

The Country Club — 740 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA

coming here was awkward because they told us we weren’t allowed in without a membership so we had to drive through the gate and then snap a picture while moving and then turn through the parking lot and leave so not the best spot either but at least i got a pic

that was it for today, I’ll update y’all on whatever we find tomorrow!!!

Cobra Kai Filming Locations; Day One

HELLO!! I have arrived in Georgia and spent all day scouting on some locations. Unfortunately there were no run-ins with the cast or any live filming today at the places I went, but maybe I’ll have better luck tomorrow!

The Larusso Home — 130 Woodlawn Drive NE, Marietta

This was in a rich neighborhood so we just hopped out of the car and snapped a few pictures because we were nervous about getting in trouble LOL, you can’t see the backyard or anything but the front of the house was very recognizable and easy to get to.

The All Valley Tournament Arena — 635 Walter Kelley Road, Marietta

Probably one of the best spots of the day, it was open and completely deserted so we got to go in and explore the whole building for ourselves.

The Skating Rink — 3335 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta

The rink is unfortunately closed on Mondays so we couldn’t go inside, definitely one of the lamer spots of the trip, but still cool to see.

West Valley High-School (S1 Exterior) — 3201 MLK Jr. Dr. Atlanta

Not that recognizable considering this was only used for a few exterior shots in the first season, but still cool to visit. It’s actually a recreational center so there were a good amount of people around and it was pretty easy to find.

The Soccer Field — 3201 MLK Jr. Dr. Atlanta (back of the school building)

This was located directly behind the S1 school and it was another one of my favorite spots we visited. It looked exactly like it did in the show and for some reason I really liked the soccer scene in S3 so I was really excited to check this one out.

Eagle Fang ‘Dojo’ — Rose Circle Park

Definitely the most shocking location of the trip was this park. In the show they make it look like a very large park, but in person it was so tiny. It was basically a long vertical strip of grass between two busy roads and that was all there was. We found the exact spot they were standing when CK crashes their class, and we think they must’ve extended the tree/bush for the show considering there was no way all the CK kids could’ve came so abruptly from around the corner of the tree, it was so small in person.

West Valley High-School (S2/3 Interior/Exterior) — 1560 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta

By far the BEST spot from today! This is actually a college campus and we certainly did not expect to be met with THE staircase the moment we walked in the door. It was literally right there. They said we could walk around and take whatever pictures we wanted, and it was so surreal seeing the staircase Miguel fell from; as well as the hall where Demetri kicks Hawk into the trophy case. So cool!!

I didn’t realize there was an image limit on here so I’ll have to include the rest from today in tomorrow’s post as there are a few more, but I hope you guys enjoyed these pics and stories!!

so im heading to Georgia next month to stalk Cobra Kai filming before they wrap on April 15th. I’ll be updating y’all with pictures of locations and hopefully I’ll find them filming I’m so excited lmao
