All little ones love playing! This is the cute domino tower babygirl built with her own hands! Clever princess! She’s super proud of it but it has also definitely peaked her stuffy penguin Maya’s interest…

Nap time and sleepy time for little ones, boys and girls is very important! A few things that help this babygirl drop off to dreamland include: 

- Maya - A stuffy to cuddle to sleep is VERY important!

- Binkie - Sometimes this baby likes to suck her thumb but a pacifier is just as soothing for this little one

- Onesie or Footed Sleeper (depending on how cold the room is) a clean, lavender smelling, warm soft but breathable onesie is comfy to sleep in, and helps hold baby’s overnight diaper in place

- Daddy’s arms, or body warmth - whether it’s the classic spoon position, or head on daddy’s chest - the body contact and feeling of a caregiver’s warmth and beating heart can help make baby feel safe and protected and sleepy

- Nursery Music - Daddy uses Spotify to play gentle piano covers of Disney songs. These provide perfect lullaby background music to fall asleep to and is as effective as traditional nursery rhymes / tinkerboxes.

- Bedtime story - Bedtime story read by Daddy or your caregiver - a moment to not only go on a journey together through fairylands, but also an amazing bonding experience and way to quieten and calm baby down from a long stressful day

- “Daddy ASMR” and hair strokes and forehead kisses - This is something we do - whereby daddy strokes baby’s hair and whispers into baby’s ears offering comforting, reassuring words. Everything from creating images of being surrounded by nursery items and stuffies, to “imagine your tiny feet and arms and head sinking into your crib” or a reminder that “Daddy loves you very much” before giving little kisses on baby’s forehead…

What helps you to nap / sleep in littlespace?

Oh my!! Both Daddy and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image. Why exactly?

1. Daddy loves picking up his babygirl when she’s in little space.

2. Baby loves being carried by daddy up the stairs or from room to room with her legs around his waist - just like a sleepy toddler

3. The size of that bunny stuffy makes her look so little and smol

4. That bunny stuffy looks almost identical to Daddy’s own childhood teddy from when he was an actual baby

BIGGEST SHOUTOUT to all those caregivers, mommies and daddies who are able to carry their littles/babies like this. You are amazing!

I’ve been asked about this DIY play gym a lot. The inspiration + tutorial came from @thesuperbaby however, if you don’t have a kink account you won’t be able to see it. ⁠

So with his permission, here are the supplies you’ll need: ⁠

⭐ A single person tent. I chose the 5’ x 5’ one, but you can go bigger if you like. $20⁠
⁠
⭐ Four pool noodles. I chose white bc I knew I wanted the theme to be light and airy. $18 ⁠
⁠
⭐ A foam baby playmat (5’ x 5’). You could use a blanket for this but I thought foam would be more comfortable. $30⁠
⁠
⭐ Crib sheets or other fabric to cover the pool noodles. $15 ⁠
⁠
⭐ Hanging toys. You can use any that you have around your house. I bought zoo theme ones for $20 ⁠
