I know no one talks about Bandstand to begin with but I have never seen anyone talk about the absolutely BEAUTIFUL (heartbreaking) parallel that is Donny telling Julia about the time Micheal told him to speed up the pace of a song they were performing to the troops and Micheal going “Now SING” and then Donny doing the exact same thing with the band and going “Now SING” to Julia during Welcome Home Finale
