Just because people don’t like the whole song doesn’t mean they are antis. I have seen way too many people go at others for saying their opinion. I personally hated the chorus. I know now that it was a remake, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Hobi was amazing, the multiple languages were great. But it isn’t something I would listen to. Anyone who follows me knows I love Hobi. I am glad that he enjoyed this. But it doesn’t mean that it is everyone’s cup of tea.
The bridge/pre-chorus turned me off. It didn’t really fit with the tone (?) of the song to me. Felt a bit disconnected.
*sigh*…..so apparently hoseok’s hair isn’t dreads but twisted with gel, but still…..i’m not really okay tbh…and whoever did the cover art for it needs to be punched in the face tbh. The cover art makes it worse, so I don’t necessarily know how to feel rn because even though it wasn’t done directly the intent was still there.
It’s so stupid cause now the YTs are trying to say we’re overreacting cause their not really dreads as if that’s not the whole point. The ILLUSION of appropriation without the actual action of appropriating.
@banananana-park The worst park about it is that it is most likely the stylist fault, but I’m more pissed off at the other BLACK backup dancers that didn’t say anything just to sit here and let him get dragged like that especially since there were MULTIPLE black dancers on set which in all honesty pisses me off the most
@blackkpoppers101 of course it’s the stylist. Probably the same one who did Joon dirty at MAMA. I already knew the dancers were trash cause their just there to get paid. They’re probably thinking “this lil Asian boy bout to get dragged but once that check clear it ain’t my business”
@banananana-park Hoseok doesn’t deserve this, but I see alot of fans on Twotter planning to email bighit as well as post letters on Weverse and send it to them, so that this won’t happen again. Hoseok is the nicest person and he got done dirty. However, BeckyG of ALL people should have known better and should have said something about it especially since she grew up in California…in the HOOD of all places so she should know better and should have said something.
@blackkpoppers101 not only that I remember how she was praised for standing up for Normani when people were bullying her & she’s very vocal about racism in her own community but that’s why black people cant rely on other races speaking up for our issues
@banananana-park Woooowww I didn’t know that at all. That makes it even worse than it already is. I’m pretty sure Becky is a nice girl and seems really sweet, but this was not it. Hopefully the MV is better and it is only there for a milli second. But the cover art is the worst part about it tho….like that irks me tbh
@blackkpoppers101 yeah the cover art is what set everybody off. When I first say his hair, I wasn’t too mad, just a little put off, but then when I looked at the cover art and I was ready to flip. The fools really took a pic of Micky Mouse, stuck some dreads and a Jamaican colored headband on him and though NOBODY was gonna say anything??? They were tryna be slick as if we weren’t gonna notice. Not to mention how the pic could be a connotation of getting high or smoking weed but I’m already irked. Meanwhile, YTs are trying to say “hIs hAiR rEpReSeNtS tHe NoOdLeS” BITCH WHAT NOODLES?! Got a song called Chicken Noodle Soup and ain’t got none anywhere to be found
@banananana-park The creative director and graphic artist BOTH need to be educated, fired, or both because that cover art is NOT it…..at all. If it was just the hair I could MAYBE get past it after awhile like I did with No More Dream and their early days, but they have already moved past that stage and the thing is this just set them back 3 years…. so either people email BigHit and post on Weverse of BTS has to learn the hard way by getting dragged by the GP and Black Twitter.
@blackkpoppers101 agreed! And I still hold Becky & Hobi somewhat liable cause I feel they had a say in at least approving the artwork. I know they had other things to choose from that that atrocity. The reboot of the ‘90s children’s TV show Power Rangers is the first big-budget superhero movie to feature an LGBT protagonist.
During Power Rangers’ second act, there’s a scene in which the titular heroes learn that the Yellow Ranger, Trini (portrayed by Mexican American singer Becky G.), is coming to terms with her sexual orientation, with one character assuming she’s having “boyfriend problems,” and soon realizing that perhaps she’s actually having “girlfriend problems.”
A young Rictor makes his debut in the film “Logan”. Portrayed by Latino actor Jayson Genao, Rictor is a mutant child experiment of Dr. Zander Rice from Transigen lab escapes Transigen lab along with other children. He helps led the group across the border of Mexico where there is a safe haven for mutant kind.
The Rictor of Logan shares the same seismic powers as his comic book counterpart. His origin is different, but the idea of him being a young mutant used for sinister purposes is still present.
In X-Factor comic #45, in 2009, Rictor kissed Shatterstar. The two character first on-panel kiss became the first male-male kiss between two mainstream male superheroes in mainstream Marvel comic book history.
Fans probably shouldn’t expect the young actor from Logan to reprise his role in the X-Force movie, but it’s one more X-Force character in the film universe’s continuity.
