#gay representation
I’m so fucking tired of the only gay rep being so stereotypical that they dont even have to say anything for me to tell they’re supposed to be gay. Its ridiculous, I just want average, regular people to be gay!!! Its not that fucking hard!!!
OH MY GOD!
Is that? Is that his husband back there? Is that their child?! I’M SCREAMINF! YGKJHGDK<HD
So back in 2020, there was this movie that Blue Sky Studios was producing (Ice Age, Spies in Disguise) called Nimona. It had this enemies-to-lovers plot line between two male leads. And there was supposed to be a kiss somewhere (I’m guessing at the end?). And the other lead was non-binary. ANyway, it was based on the comic by the same name (which was written by Noelle Stevenson AKA She-Ra, Lumberjanes). It was 75% done when d*sney shut down Blue Sky Studios. The only way to save Nimona would be to have another studio pick it up. There’s obviously a couple of campaigns for it since the comic was awesome and this would be great for LGBT representation.
I just wanted to spread the word.
Me when I watch yet another m/f relationship turn romantic on TV: ughh seriously why? They were better as friends smh

Head empty, only blorbos from my show
rewriting classic straight stories with gay characters isn’t the diversity power move movie directors think it is :/
The fact that season 3 pushed about 15 straight couples through our throats part 1 but just gave us one half-baked gay couple in part 2 is funny to me because after all these years we still falling for these baits
shoutout to boys (especially east asian boys) who constantly have their love for other boys fetishized and compared to/called yaoi. your attraction is real and valid and isn’t just for straight people’s entertainment
