Catholic Healthcare (based in New South Wales) wants to install a café in the heritage-listed chapel of Villa Maria, which is a functioning parish in Brisbane attached to a nursing home. The laity are saddenedandangered that we have been kept in the dark and our parish priest was not consulted until the eleventh hour.Construction boards are already up.

This was in my local paper the other day. The writer argues that Big Business perfectly demonstrates what will happen if conflicts are left to escalate: Stan & Ollie are having an ever-worsening fight with Fin, a cop appears but doesn’t at first do anything except take notes, eventually some sort of agreement is reached but the damages are extensive for both sides.
Great to see someone use Laurel & Hardy as an example in their article. What of course happens in Big Business after accusations, crying and handshakes is this:

I work for one of largest companies in the United States if not the world. And I really don’t like the direction we are going in. we need to change the company motto to: SOMEBODY DIDN’T THINK THIS COMPLETELY THROUGH!
