It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here.
The other day, I went to a photo session with @masachi and his friends for the first time in a while.
This time we went to the Tanba-Sasayama area to take pictures of giant trees, but I forgot to bring my wide-angle lens. So I had to take pictures of the bark of the giant trees… I was disappointed to see so many powerful trees.
I’ll start with the big Abemaki tree in Kamitachikui.
Redwoods are by far my favorite tree. After hiking for so many months in the mountains and foothills, it was such a treat to finally hike among the redwoods again in Muir Woods last December. Along the path in the park the sunlight gleams through the 200-foot tall trees to highlight just how beautiful and majestic they are. And while Muir Woods is not my favorite Redwood park, there is something still so magnificent about this special place in the bay.
