It’s ok to have your own opinion about this Ship, everybody has it, mine is that these two hate each other but they understand each other. Of course, there are the cannon things of the show and the fanon things of the fandom!
What I like about ships like these is that you can have complete freedom! You can make them hate each other to death but you can also make them love themselves to death.
Bill is a twisted and evil being but is only a ship. The relationship that I draw between Dipper and Bill is not toxic, it is not incestuous, it is not paedophile (since Dipper is over 18 years old here) Bill is almost Human in here also.
The way I see these two is how I see Hannibal and Will (The Hannibal Tv show) in the way that they are capable of killing each other but decide not to.
So, I say again, it’s completely fine to have your own opinion about this Ship, just like I have my own opinion about it.
My AU: Dipper isn’t born mute but instead choosed to be mute. The reason for this is that his parents doesn’t like him and favors his sister over him. He isn’t jelous of his sister but he slightly envies how likable she is. Dipper’s sister knows the mental abuse their parents give him but she doesn’t know of the physical abuse. The reason why she doesn’t know is because Dipper hide it from her not wanting her to also get hurt by their parents.
My Headcanon: After the events weirdmageddon Mabel and Dipper returns to gravity falls. Bill also returns but he takes on a more human form. Dipper’s Grunkles are more over protected of him even though they don’t know his home life but they know something is up. While Dipper thinks he is alone in the forest he stats singing. Bill catches him singing, somehow finds out about his homelife and becomes protective over him.

I had Bill with darker hair originally, but uhg he just looks really cute with it bleached….my theory is that he lets Mable bleach it cus those two would totally get up shinanigans while dipper is unhappily dragged along.
