and I don’t mean Black Canary and Huntress.
One of the most memorable ‘things’ to come out of Gail Simone’s run on the Birds has to be Savant and Creote. I remember that first issue and being bothered that my first “real” monthly arc I was going to be reading of the Birds, Oracle and Canary were already getting their butts handed to them. But I quickly got over it. I was so interested to see how the girls were going to show them how bad an idea it is to mess with the Birds of Prey. Little did I know how much I would end up loving Creote and Savant by the end of series.

I really dig what the gang came up with for the Steph Batgirl shots, but a wee bit of design flaw in the suit for reality, in many aspects you lose the Purple paneling down the sides of the suits. I know there are some photos coming up the really show off the suit in more detail.

I’ve kinda had a messed up experience that left me a bit cold and feeling a bit hard on myself. But then I realized. I’m right and I don’t need you to like me. Cuz I’m a god damn Bird of Prey! hahaha
So I channeled the Huntress of the 90’s. We can all learn lessons from the Birds of Prey (haha… no seriously.)

We would like to honor the lifetime of a very, very special jacket and announce its retirement.
The Eagle put us on the map as a gamer clothing company. It’s got drama and style. We’ve loved how versatile it can be to wear a revolutionary era trench coat. We cannot say how great it has been to make these, to share them with you, and to improve upon them over time. The Eagle has lived a Hero’s life and should go out with a bang. Without this coat, there’s no doubt that we would not be in business.
Here at Volante Design we extend our warmest thanks to those of you out there who are living and working in the Eagle. In you this timeless design will live on. Thank you for believing in us and in the Eagle.
And even good things must come to an end. We feel the time has come to retire this exceptional coat and make room for our next generation.

Officially licensed giclee prints, in signed limited editions of 300 on paper each, and signed and numbered HD Aluminum Metal limited editions of 75 each.
