Since September 11th, the day of my first thread, I have received 65.7 million impressions on twitter and countless other interactions on other social media sites. I say this not to be a braggart, but to show you that I have a large platform and I wanna use it for some f*cking good. I have always found pleasure in history and social science, but I finally understand why they have pervaded as my passions for so long! I want every open minded person of color to have access to the same factually based material so we can have more honest discussions about race and come up with viable solutions for the future. Education is the most important tool we have for battling white supremacy. I want to take concepts I learned in college (at the rate of 40K a year) and make them accessible to everyone! Additionally, I want more black people to know their history and the full scope of their struggle. As I publish more content, the more I travel the vast ocean of identities, experiences, and problems that encompass the category of “people of color”. Eventually I will be expanding into giving other writers, historians, sociologists, political scientists, and more a platform to speak about topics that matter without fear of limitation or advertiser disapproval. I am interesting in publishing innovative educational material like books and digital content, maintaining a full-time website, and I’ll also be dipping my toes in a few other projects. Im moving to California on December 1st for three months to finish my first book and begin my company, Intelexual Media. The money you donate will go towards publishing and commission fees for the content created by Intelexual Media.
