Pixel and Widget aren’t used to seeing wild birds through windows, as we never had a proper garden before, and they’ve never been able to see outside from their cage before. Now that we have patio doors they alternate between “Oh no there’s something outside that can fly too! Should I be scared??” and “Omg those moving things are chirping! I’m gonna chirp too! Loudly! For hours!”
They’re getting used to it, but still get a little concerned when something new lands in the tree. Today’s terrifying threat? This smol bean.
All nesting boxes in my garden are currently full. My favorite objects are blue tits. I like her. They are small and cute. Every day I watch them bathing in my water bowls.
