And I hear Goo Gone, a product, works very well.
I’ve had great luck with just a regular steel wool or SOS pad — it’s the quickest method, and the easiest, in my experience. But if you’re worried about the glass and the possibility of scratching it, then baking soda/water is AMAZING, and not as harsh. Steam is great too. But with especially stubborn adhesives, you may have to use a combination of things.
