This pseudo-legendary fakemon line takes inspiration from a whole batch of different arachnids, such as baby spiders, the wind scorpion, the vinegaroon, and the tailless whip scorpion.
A solichute’s parents weave it a silken parachute, and then cast the young arachnid into the breeze so that the winds may carry it to a new home. When it grows into a spinegaroon, it uses its long whip-like tail to propel itself through the sky like a helicopter. By the time it has become a chawper, it is the undisputed king of the skies. Chawpers tend to be very territorial with others of its kind, which is why they send their young off on parachutes to find new territory for themselves.
