In the spirit of me failing my previous nuzlocke, I’ve started a completely randomized Pokémon Black artlocke! And managed to get a Rayquaza as my starter!

My route 2 pokémon is a Lumineon
I ran out of pokéballs on my route 1 encounter, which was a ninetales
The gift dreamyard pokemon ended up being a riolu! Dunno what it’ll evolve into though
And so, we have our first death
Bootleg got hit by a super effective bonemerang while facing a server in the first gym :(
My Dreamyard and Route 3 encounters were both crit, so that’s two encounters gone
In Wellspring Cave though, I got a swadloon!
Next up, Goldeen!
The next available encounter is Route 4, which is a bit away, so the next update will be slower(Unless we have a death)
I guess I really set myself up there with that last comment, but I guess this game doesn’t want me to have any fish pokémon, huh?

Gotta catch em all, POKEITH! This is a super fast digi’d-up version of a sketch battle I did with a friend at lunch one day. I prefer the original sketch but it was scrawled on company letterhead in such a way I couldn’t edit it out. Whoops!
Full disclosure I haven’t played Pokemon since Heart Gold so Honedge and Swadloon are newbies to me but I tried to pick a nice mix of Pokes to represent Keith. IIIII didn’t research size relationships so if I messed any up I’m sorry!

A love ball might just be the perfect gift to ‘capture’ a special someone’s heart. q;
And yes… I did something bad… I used Raichu for the fast ball even though he can’t be caught in one. But hey, you can catch him in the original Red and Blue, he does have a base speed over 100 and if you really wanted you could catch a pikachu in a fast ball and evolve it. I mean just look at the design, it’s meant to carry Raichu. It’s just meant to. XP
One more thing: Just look at Swadloon’s face. Just look at it. It’s like a grumpy little four year old in a sleeping bag. It needs a friend ball more than any other pokemon. Just look at that face…
I’m kinda sad these guys wont be in sword and shield, so I wanted to draw them! I might do more drawing of my favorite pokemon who didn’t make the cut, they all deserve some love!
with all the perks of hatching eggs from different biomes and lengths of great distance, i internally say “egg” and “thank you” whenever i get them in gifts from people far away and always thought that was a universal thing???
