HI FRIENDS

I hope you’re all feeling very proud of yourselves for getting through 2020 - you should be!

Wishing everyone a lovely amazing beautiful year ahead filled with hope and growth <3

In other news, I’m flying back to London in a measly five days, and I’m ready to get my head back in the uni game with fun practicals and all my amazing friends :) I’m a bit nervous because the global situation is still so uncertain, but I’m trying to stay optimistic.

As always, please send in your asks/messages/comments and feel free to come say hi to me whenever - I don’t bite and I always love hearing from you guys :p

I accidentally set up my alarm for a normal school day (four am ) because I thought I had classes. So here I am, munching on some cereal and finishing my paper for experimental psychology at six in the morning. #letsdothis

Pages from my Starbucks x Moleskine 2016 planner: What a busy busy January! (And we still have a week of it left!) I can imagine that the next few months wouldn’t be any different, but we studyblrs can make it through, right?

Excuse these awful pictures (its a bit dark in here and I didn’t edit them), but I wanted to show off a bit more how you can use Onenote as a bullet journal.

Image 1 is your normal daily spread and to-do list. Mine is fairly plain right now!

Image 2 is your monthly spread. I crossed out the days that have already been passed!! This isn’t filled out fully (it’s missing my games) but you can see it’s pretty standard stuff.

Image 3 is my weekly spread, using a printout from Studyblrbunny.tumblr.com! This was one of the things I was most excited about. It can be placed right in your bullet journal and written on. I have midterms for my two hardest classes this week (4 in total) plus some placement stuff (I’m gonna change practice being yellow to green), but it’s very easy to customize and edit, very readable, and overall just enjoyable to use! I love printables but never really use them. This means I definitely will now.

I also have other tabs I haven’t started working on yet, including one to keep track of assignments and grades, a tracking tab, and one for lists (movies, books to read, etc). Again, I love this so much because it’s so easy to add and remove things! I’m setting up the to-do tab by month right now. And if you have a fancy daily spread, you can copy and paste it per day (or use a printable!)

So cool!

saturday, march 6 • a february recap & march setup

my march bullet journal spread was inspired by my recent feb-cover-up situation because i’m actually quite liking the additional pOP! of color that i can add into my bujo with the random construction paper i have lying around uwu but ya dis an overview of my spreads that i made in a 10pm-dimly-lit-tired-trance last weekend hAHaha

also im not sure of where to take photos now in my new apt (i miss my old room’s lighting during golden hour ft. the nice flowy curtains), but i’ll figure it out this is small potatoes u know what i’m sayin’

journal series: it’s safe to say that journaling and art-making have kind of saved my life over the past year. I mean, any year… but this past year more than ever. at times when the fear of the future is at its peak, sitting down to write something or cut something up or glue something together allows me a moment of normality. grounding. intention. I’m grateful to have this outlet that just belongs to me; and I hope you’ve found an outlet that can give you some peace too. if you want to follow my art journey you can follow my art insta here! sending you so many virtual hugs and kisses.

First week of February is already coming to an end. It’s been a good one, even with the weekend night shifts, and it’s ending on a special day. Despite spending it mostly by myself, I’m still feeling tons of love from my friends and family who are hours away, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

windvexer:

I’m in to bullet journaling. It is a very easy and convenient way of keeping track of daily events and tasks.

Do you know what else I figured out? It’s actually a very good way to keep a grimoire.

What I dislike about the aesthetic of grimoires is that I always feel there is a need to make it real fancy or look perfectly nice and have it totally organized, like it’s for a graduate level art class. I really admire those who do this, but I 100% know that is not for me. I want to be able to find information and record it in a few moments, while still being organized and neat enough that it doesn’t drive me bonkers.

Aspects of bullet grimoires:

  • Record information in a fast and practical way
  • The index keeps track of stuff without the need to reorganize
  • It’s smaller than a binder so you can take it anywhere with you
  • You can add to it during the day without the need for ritual or special tools
  • There is still room for as much personal journaling and art as you want
  • Organized and neat enough that it won’t drive you bonkers

First, make sure you check out this website if you are unfamiliar with bullet journaling.

Ideas for keeping a bullet grimoire:

► Don’t put the index on the first page. Reserve it for an introduction or dedication, like,

OH MY GOD this is a fantastic idea and I’m going to try this!! ❤️ I will probably use this for my correspondences, but I’ll use my full grimoire for my rituals and spell instructions. Maybe this will help some of my lovely followers, too~ Have fun, my witchy friends!

1.9.22.SUN

This will be a bit personal, but towards the end of last semester I struggled with some depression that began to make it feel really hard to complete basic tasks like showering and getting dressed.

I would just go to class and study, then go to bed often earlier than 7 pm.

I’ve started journaling and working with a therapist, but I also decided a habit tracker might help me stay accountable for my basic upkeep when I’m struggling.

So here it is, I know it’s a bit silly but it’s 2022 and this year I’m promising to take care of myself better ❤️

Of the rare times I actually write on pen and paper. I usually write on paper after 6 PM just to avoid harsh lights and sleep like a baby. I’ve always struggled with my sleeping schedule Specially after I got into college Damn you, college! Who else got a fucked up sleeping schedule? __________
