Café Mode is a romance one-shot comic that explores the growing intimacy between Colin, a barista and Mirembe, a novelist.
Mirembe couldn’t have imagined that needing to change her favourite cafeteria would lead to anything good – how wrong she could be. Meeting another artistic soul like Colin has been a great delight. If only she could get to know him better in the fleeting moments they share at the café every day…

These are Mirembe’s alternative clothing sets I designed for the comic Café Mode! She’s a cheerful, jovial character who loves to wear nice vivid colours. Her one item she always carries with her is the laptop, but I left it out from here to focus on the clothing.

I’ve been a little tentative with my estimated schedules on my personal comics while focusing on primary work and day job like Guncats and Black Betty. I wouldn’t want to cancel a publication date that people have been waiting for, so I’m trying to be as precise as possible for all readers’ sake.
But! Things are finally looking clearer now and I’m happy to announce that I’m aiming to publish Café Mode, my one-shot comic, in summer 2018! The inks are now done, so finishing the colours and rest should be quite fast from here on!
But what’s this comic about?
Café Mode is an erotic one-shot comic. It’s the epilogue of a longer story that begins long before the main characters Mireble and Colin have yet met. I’m planning to start publishing the pages on Tapas and/or Webtoon. Extra treats will be served over Patreon. Thanks for your interest in this project! I’ll be sure to inform of any news and changes. Also feel free to drop me a question if you have anything on your mind.
