Having trouble with shading and shadows? I draw a mini sun to remind me where the main light source is. This allows me to visually see where the light should be coming from, instead of randomly guessing. I’ve found this to be very simple, and helpful! ️
“What brushes do you use?”
Don’t underestimate the basic round brush! Using and downloading custom brushes won’t magically upgrade your art skills. Here I only used the “Hard Round” and “Soft Round” which are default brushes in most programs! ️

Other Touken Ranbu Works
I haven’t colored from an anthology in years. But the Touken Ranbu Anthologies are just so beautiful and pure I couldn’t resist. So far I have ten to post, each of them individually. Hopefully if my computer cooperates I’ll be able to link them all together soon.
I did a lot of experimenting while coloring these pages and you’ll probably be able to see that. Regardless, I hope they are all enjoyable and I encourage you to reblog and leave a comment in the dialogue or in the tags.

Hey! Long time no see! I started this picture way back in November, but my computer was acting screwy so I forgot about it for several months until about two days ago.
