“… There is a lot of me to fix.” It’s quiet, feather-soft and Terra looked up at him. Isa’s eyes flicked downwards, away from Terra, a quick mask of neutrality appearing over his expression of self-detriment and apparent sadness at the thought.
“… You seem pretty complete to me. Don’t forget that - you’re a person again.”
“Humanity is certainly a gift,” His voice is still gentle, and Terra could listen to Isa speak for hours if he were one to do so. “I desire not to waste it. Being complete is all I had ever wanted. Yet even complete things can have damage marring them, however. Even complete things can have cracks in their surfaces.“
For a moment Terra almost wondered if Isa only meant his guilt and emotional turbulence. He so often forgot that Isa’s regret was literally written into his skin, his history evident on his face. He found himself captured by the man’s eyes so often that the scar was almost invisible.
Chapter 3 of Left Foot Over The Right came out the other day - I have a minimum of 12 written up currently, being proofread and edited. My lunar husband deserves some love :p There’s a serious difference between my speed doodles of my gloweyeyed moon boy and my serious paints ahaha;;;;
