In the cutscene that starts the final fight with Saïx, when Riku protects Kairi from his claymore air blast and the magical shield comes up - Riku did that. Riku made the shield. He shows a couple times throughout the series that he can make guards and tries to protect both himself and others. He locks himself and Kairi out of the fight purposefully to protect her because he knows Saïx is a threat, and I fully believe that Saïx didn’t make the shield as he just flat-out lacks the ability, because he lacks the want the protect himself. At no point does Saïx protect himself via magic - he can’t.
Otherwise he would have shielded against Riku’s dark fira before - but he didn’t, he took it with his arms, facing it head on. Shielding his face.
Saïx doesn’t know shielding magic because he’s used to his body taking hits.
(I know the area shields are to prevent escape but I like the idea too much to follow game logic)

I cut up some chalk last night for fun and it’s the most stimmy thing ever jkhkljhk if y’all can afford it, go to the dollar store and buy a pack of chalk and cut it up. It’s sooooo nice especially when wet ;o;
Personal blog. Plan is to make stimboards for all the Silent Hill characters and monsters (currently primarily focused on SH 1-4). I’m not really familiar with the games past SH4 but I might try some of the monsters or characters I like. Do not expect the boards to be in a particular order. Though once I get enough made I might make a list for things. Not open to requests currently, maybe sometime in the future though. Just starting out in the stimblogosphere so I want to get the hang of it first. Since this is a horror series expect unpleasant or weird stims mixed in. I’ll tag things appropriately as I can.

Whenever I make a new board I’ll just add it to the master list and over time it’ll have every single one of them >:D idk why but the idea of that makes me happy so I’m gonna try it!! That way if anyone is looking for something specific they can find it easily :-)
I really hate to do this, but my family has hit a really rough patch financially. The only person in my household who is employed is my mother, and even then she’s often a couple hundred dollars short on rent each month. Normally I’m able to help because I recieve unemployment cheques, but it’s no longer enough to cover rent ($700), groceries ($150), and my dog’s medication ($100) - and that’s not even covering phone bills, gas, and my parent’s license renewal fees.

saying “credits to the gif makers” is not crediting gifs btw. even on a slow laptop you can send links to the post of the gifs to yourself in a personal discord server, (i used to do this), and add them once youve made the stimboard. i believe you can credit on mobile too with tumblrs new update

Realistically febfems have always existed, they may have mistakenly called themselves lesbians but if there have always been bi women who primarily dated men then it stands to reason that there have always been bi women who primarily dated women
Unfortunately, looking through old archives like BBWN it seems like a lot of bi people in the gay scene labelled themselves based on their dating habits rather than their actual orientation, which means that a lot of women we might recognise as bi were lost in the crowds. But how great is it that now we can still have similar experiences as the women who came before while still acknowledging what makes us us! Febfem is such a great term to have and I’m so happy it exists
This this this! I struggled so much and for so long with the discrepancy between my ability to be attracted to men and my unwillingness to even consider dating one. I felt like a fraud, a broken bisexual, and really started questioning whether I really was actually a lesbian. I’m ok now, I’ve found other bisexual women who are female exclusive, I found out about the term febfem, and I’m well at peace with myself.
Hey everyone, I’ve decided I’m going to be taking a break from here and instagram. I don’t know how long for, but I hope to get back to writing my stories more, working on my grimoire again and just generally having more time in the day when I’m not using or thinking about social media, I think it will be healthy.

I don’t understand the purpose of slow rising squishies because I want to squish them as fast as possible like what’s the big deal with slow rising squishies?
I like to squish them as flat as possible and count how many seconds it takes to reform completely. It’s a really soothing way to help focus on one thing…especially when that one thing is CUTE AF XXDD
okay guys i know it’s been a while and ive been totally inactive. i recently got an app that lets me make GIFs on my phone though, so i might be producing content soon, it depends on my stress levels
i can’t post a stimboard today. the reasons are numerous, but the two biggest ones are a) i’m sleep deprived and scattered, and b) i forgot my adhd meds.
so i just don’t have the attention span to sit down and gather GIFs, but here’s a progress/planning update on the three requests currently in my inbox:
widowmaker: i have three youtube videos i’m planning to make GIFs from, for a total of 3/9 GIFs. i’m still uncertain about how else to fill it up; i can’t find many non-shaky grappling hook videos. i was thinking besides makeup, i’d find a few ballet videos with sections that mirror how widowmaker moves. if you’ve got other suggestions or ideas feel free to message me or send another ask! here’s a question you don’t have to answer: would you mind clarifying what you’re looking for as far as makeup goes? i’m having trouble figuring out what to use for that.
big sister: today, a post themed on red roses happened across my dash, so i now have links to several sites with rose GIFs. the thing is, i know how it is when you see the same GIFs repeated in multiple stimboards, so if you’d like me to do one original red rose GIF, im confident i could manage that (i’d do more than one if i can, but i’m not really comfortable promising that). as for the neon lights and underwater stuff, i have an idea that i think could be cool, but i’d like it to be a surprise, and i’m also not even sure if i’ll be able to find video of it. here’s a question(s) you don’t have to answer: do you want me to use a GIF or two from the game itself? / is there any part of the game that you’ve always wanted GIFed?
te fiti: i am so pumped for this one! i don’t have any videos or GIFs found yet, but i know how the board will be put together, and i’ve got a rough idea of what i’ll put in each slot. i also know for a fact that GIFs of what i want are easily accessible, which is always a plus. here’s a question you don’t have to answer: i’m thinking i’ll have some ocean waves (specifically on beaches), some plants growing, and some sky stuff. is there anything that you feel is missing from that list, or anything you want me to focus more on?

hi, i’m mod alex here at betterstims. i’m currently the only mod, and unless this blog gets a lot of attention, it’ll probably stay that way.
betterstims will specialise in stimboards with GIFs pertinent to a character; there might still be some slime/similar, but ideally at least half of the GIFs will match something from the source material. for instance, a stimboard for a character like Rose Lalonde (Homestuck), who enjoys knitting, reading, violin, and eldritch horrors, would contain GIFs relevant to those interests. maybe some GIFs from knitting tutorials, or violin performances, or some octopi.
when you make a request, make sure you specify what source the character is from. your request will be filled more quickly if you also give some examples of the character’s interests; for sources that i don’t know, i’ll have to research anything you don’t tell me.
